[Floor 29]: This floor has seemed pretty peaceful so far, the maze isn't all that hard and the garden that lies beyond it is rather lovely. Still it seems best to head back now that the sun is about to set and nighttime is approaching fast. ...Is that just the leaves rustling in the wind behind you, or is it something more?

[Floor 56]: Oh this looks definitely like an useful floor - the room stretches into a hospital ward, dusty and old, a surgical suite surrounded by a maze of empty beds. The closer you look, the more you'll find that the first impression is quite deceiving - no medical supplies of any sort, unstable lights and what was that noise just now?! Clearly you are the only one on this floor. Or are you?

[Floor 25]: After all you have seen so far, this just might be the first truly innocent floor you see. But is it truly as trustworthy as it seems...? Many other people seem to think so at least! Come and see what they are up to?

[Elevators]: It's quite a long ride between the Dormitories and the Cafeteria - it probably doesn't help that the minutes and seconds seem to stretch out more and more towards eternity, what a hassle. Are well, maybe there is someone stuck with you and up to provide conversation... or entertainment~

[Anywhere]: Do you still have track of just where you are after spending your day exploring the Tower of Animus? If not, you might want to ask someone... or just start climbing the stairs regardless of where you are! Nighttime is approaching fast...

[Event]: Just earlier this day you have been called for (and/or brought in to) an unscheduled collar check-up, in which the color of your collar was changed. It takes a few hours, but soon you feel the effects of it, feel lightheaded and dizzy, feel all your power slip out of your control. Or maybe you heavy to the point of breaking down on the spot, while just none of your powers seem to work. Either way... hopefully you are at a safe place or in friendly company... That is, if either of these things exist in this tower.

Either way, you may get the distinct impression that someone might be watching you. And you are right, there is a rather cute and furry rabbit/cat thing (IT IS TOTALLY CUTE, RIGHT? :D) watching you.

Kyubey has only just woken up in the tower and while he is not particularly happy at being brought here and having his contract powers taken away, he is rather impressed and intrigued by the idea that someone has brought him here after his world was supposedly destroyed. Which is why he has been wandering about the tower and observing what is going on.

What will you do? Approach him? Yell at him? Pet him?]

[The creature looks nothing like a Djinni. It almost looks like a monster. The rational part of Jenna says for her to avoid it; the part of her that is a teenage girl says to approach.

The not-so-rational side wins out. She approaches cautiously but curiously.]

[Brunwulf huffed in annoyance after traipsing down yet another flight of stairs. How many stairs did this tower have for goodness sake? He was rapidly losing patience with the whole place, as he turned a corner and ended up on another floor. He can feel the night begin to draw in, as there is hardly any light peeking in through the narrow windows. Was he in some kind of mages tower? It seemed well built and tough to get out of.

That was another thing. There seemed to be no escape. He had tried every available staircase and all led to yet another floor. Was this intentional? Perhaps, some kind of elven trap? Curse those Thalmor and their evil scheming. Brunwulf despised most elves and was beginning to think himself within one of the many Thalmor towers in Skyrim.]

Where in Ysmir's name am I? [His voice echoed off the stone walls, as he looked around for anyone.]

[Well, this couldn't be a dream anymore. Usually hers were interrupted by something bad happening and she hadn't woken up to a firefight or some sort of war breaking out now. She was starting to get worried.

A lot of things were moving way too quickly for her and she didn't like the fact that Alucard hadn't made it back to Hellsing Headquarters after being sent on a mission. Now if only she could find a way out of the building and get back to Hellsing.

Grumbling to herself, she pushed open a door and noticed someone else in the hall. She blinked for a moment as she heard his words echo.]

I'm...not really sure. I don't know this place at all.

Floor 29, OTA

[Natalia is on her guard.

After reading the letters on her bedside table, she could not simply accept that Auldrant was lost. Neither could she accept that she was meant to live out the rest of her life in this place, away from her family and her friends and all she held dear. So after making sure she had her bow and a quiver full of arrows safe in hand, she had left to explore the tower and search for a way out.

She's found herself in the midst of a hedge maze. With the sun seeming to sink behind the horizon, it does seem rather like it would be a good time to go. But that doesn't help her find her way through the maze...

There is a rustling behind her. She whirls, an arrow in hand and drawn back, the tip pointed at the chest of whoever or whatever has come up behind her.]

[Asch is never on this floor normally - he has better things to do than wander mazes, thank you very much, Tower - but sometimes. Sometimes you get trapped in your favorite corner of the library by a floor master and there's no way around the thing.

He tried. He really did. He just failed miserably. At least it only dropped him into the hedge maze instead of the volcano or something.

Also, he's now covered in blood, because clearly the Tower loves making his life as much of an ironic hell as possible. And that's when he hears a familiar voice - ]

Natalia?!

[Just what he needed to make his day better. So hi, princess, this is your favorite redhead, currently covered in blood as his title might imply is a regular occurrence, his hair kind of a mess, and no sign of his tabard.

At least he brought flowers? Sort of.]

Savalia had to laugh during then. Hellscream finally became too power hungry and ended up causing Azeroth's destruction, or so she wanted to think. So, if this was her new home, certainly there had to be at least some faction or banner to be under. Although, the more the elf walked, she found herself rather lost. Every floor brought about a certain danger, which caused her to fight back with impressive strength.

...Oh, this was getting her nowhere fast. The death knight sighed and relaxed between the forty-ninth and fiftieth floors. ]

This was amusing the first few floors, but now it's getting tiresome. [ Well, her voice is unnatural, same as her eyes. ] I don't play games well, so you may cease this at once.

[ Who is she talking to? The administrators? Probably. ]

Believe me, I'd stop it if I could.

[There's a girl a few feet away and she doesn't seem happy to be in this situation. She looks innocent enough: average sized, wearing shades of pink and brown and purple, the sort of face that would make one think she might have a pretty smile if she would stop griping or shouting for five seconds.

The blade in her hand that's alight with flames is a little less normal, though.]

Any idea what it is these guys are trying to pull?

[Despite the aggravatingly-slow ride, the faintly-smiling man in the corner of the elevator is happy to provide pleasant conversation. Dressed in a uniform from a world supposedly long-lost, he carries himself like a high-ranking military officer, relaxed but ready; the long sword at his side has seen some use.]

[The elevator's other occupant had a hard and cold look to his face, the kind that one gained through hard work and sleepless nights. Even so, the green-suited magus had a casual tone to his voice as he adjusted the sunglasses atop his head.]

[Jade started exploring this floor because it looked like a medical research facility. On further observation, it does seem to be long-abandoned, but perhaps someone has left some notes around? He's making his way somewhat dubiously through the maze of beds, looking for a desk or some sort of workstation where paperwork might be kept.

A noise behind him makes him glance up briefly, but nothing seems to be there... He pays the flickering lights no mind. It's only to be expected, since clearly no one's maintained this area in some time. Right?]

[Well, that's sure a familiar uniform.

Jade'll probably hear Asch approaching first - the redhead makes it a point to make his steps loud around certain people, and that includes Jade. Hard to tell when the man's from by looking at him, after all, and there was definitely a point in time when they were enemies.

So here's a redhead, sans tabard, plus a kind of unusual wreath of flowers around the scabbard of his sword, although they're starting to look a little wilted at this point. One bright red poppy loses a petal even as he approaches.]

So, are you the one who was here before?

[Event - Stairway]

[Waking up to that cold ceiling and endless staircase felt very little like the jarring surprise it should have been. No, after the numbness and general disorientation had died down, Guy was feeling a severe sense of de-ja-vu.

It was crazy, but he knew he'd been here before.

Unlike his last visit, however, he isn't given much time to explore. He's barely down the first flight of stairs before a red-collared worker unit marches up to him, grabbing him roughly be the arm and shoving him into the elevator.

"Nice to know things haven't changed, huh..."

It's a long ride down and a quiet, lonely appointment in the examination room. Guy catches the different color fluid, voicing a remark of concern that was easily ignored by the workers present. Green fluid out, yellow fluid in, and he was set on his way.

It didn't take long for Guy's pace to slow, which is how someone might stumble across him. He's climbing the stairs bit by bit, simply to take a peek in some of the lower floors for people he might recognize. But he's taking his time. His head feels like it's been filled with air, his hands and feet tingling and numb.

Chivalrous as ever, if he hears someone behind him, he'll halt enough to wave them past with a tired grin.]

Hahah... no, hey, go around me. It's alright. I'm just a slowpoke today.

[ - because here's Asch pointedly not going around him and instead giving him a worried look. He's changed a bit, the lack of tabard most obvious, the flowers on his hip next, but the expression is different, too. He's not exactly hiding his concern, for a start.]

[This was the first time Luna had ever been somewhere so... different. By appearances alone, she might have mistaken her surroundings for Rhizome-9. Perhaps it was just a room she'd never visited before?

It didn't take long for her to figure out the truth.

The hospital wing was something familiar in a building full of confusion and variety. It all looks so different than what she's used to, though, and with no tools and improper lighting... was this really meant to be a room for the sick and wounded?

She runs her finger against one of the tables, brow tight.]

All of this seems so strange...

[There's a scrape against one of the far walls, followed by the clang of sharp metal on the floor. Luna draws in a quick breath, jumping and quickly backing away from her investigation with wide eyes.]

P-please, it's okay! I won't hurt you.

[The silence is thick and eerie in response. The redhead stays cautiously in the middle of the room, taking slow steps backwards towards the entrance. What kind of place was this?]

[The voice is probably not one Luna wants to hear. That's okay. Most people would quite like it if Dio would just stop talking forever.

Dio steps into Luna's field of vision, his hands in his pockets and his posture remarkably relaxed, given where they are and everything that's been going on. He inclines his head and gives her a scrutinizing once-over, then chuckles.]

I don't think you should be the one reassuring things that go bump in the night that you won't hurt them. Chances are, it's more likely that they'll hurt you.

[It would almost sound like concern if Dio weren't such a creep.]

[It's evening, and if you're one of those people who takes the stairs instead of the elevators, you might run into this guy. Or maybe you're just exploring and taking the scenic route

Either way, there's a pink-clad kid wandering aimlessly up and down the stairwell, occasionally peeking into floors that seem interesting. A sword is stuck through his belt.]

[Normally Xion takes a Dark Corridor, but that's currently out given that she still hasn't gotten a replacement for her Black Coat. As it is, she's currently on floor 62 - the beach, which is currently getting a rather nice - if false - sunset. The only downside for Xion is that the coming darkness means she should be getting back to the dorms. She heads for the stairs, when she sees someone looking into the floor itself.

There's a definite familiar sense, the way Roxas had felt familiar when she'd first seen him, or Riku had felt when they'd met on less unfriendly terms. She feels like she knows this person - or she should. And yet, there's enough differences between the faces she knows she can't... quite be 100% sure, especially at this distance.]

[It's not someone she recognizes, which means they're probably new this month... hm...]

Now this was odd, even for her. After becoming a vampire, she was used to dealing with unusual things, but this took the cake for even her. Maybe it was a dream. A very strange dream. She took a deep breath as she wandered through the halls. She didn't need to panic. This was only a dream. She could deal with all of this. She just needed to wake up and then go about her business as usual.

"Its going to be all right, Seras. Its only a dream," she said to herself as she walked down the halls. This really was a strange tower. There had to be a way out of here somewhere. Maybe if she got to the exit she would be able to wake up. Maybe. She hoped so.

"If it's a dream," comes a mutter from a displeased-looking teenager that Seras has just passed, "tell me, how are we all dreaming the same thing?"

Jenna thinks it's more like a nightmare. A maddening one that she can't wake up from no matter how hard she tries. She knows: her left arm is already peppered with bruises earned by pinching herself to try and wake up.

[There's a robotic-looking woman wandering around the tower. You're most likely to find her in the cafeteria, but she'll probably be around many different places. She might also be found on a monster-filled floor, summoning apparitions that attack the beasts with strikes and spells. Care to investigate?]

[The sounds of battle draw Jenna's attention. By now she's well accustomed to them and she hurries to the action without so much as a second thought for her own safety. This situation was confusing but there's something so simple about being faced with a monster: Kill it, and it dies, and that's usually the end of the story.

She jumps right into battle alongside Sephira's apparitions, slashing with a light blade that almost looks as if it's on fire. A howl comes from the blade and she points it at a group of monsters, unleashing a torrent of fireballs on them.]

[ If one looks closely enough, they will see a young girl, in her mid-teens. A magician, by the looks of it, all dolled up in her little blue cape and matching top hat. She's looking a little on the lost side, though; every now and then, she'll pause and glance around, give a little glance over her shoulder because really, she's a little creeped out.

It doesn't show on her face, though, at least. The way she looks around, she studies everything she can see -- she's treating this like an investigation, as well she should be. She's got no idea just who or what lurks in these halls, after all. ]

[ Visitors to this floor today will see a strange sight. There's a bird, circling around in the 'sky'. Occasionally he lands in the grass to rest for a bit, since there aren't any trees around, but soon enough he's off again. ]

[ If you're taking the elevator, there's a boy with dirty blond hair squashed into the corner. He's clearly regretting taking this route, since he keeps looking around nervously. Stare at him though, and he'll stare right back intently. ]

[Between the never-ending stairs, and the rooms that are way bigger on the inside than they should be, the mechanics of this place to be rather fascinating. There are even gardens! :O

She hadn't recognized some of the flowers along the walls of the maze, and that's why she's still here, navigating on tip-toe and stopping every once in a while to get a closer look at some of the blossoms. Not touching any, of course -- they could be poisonous! -- but rather just peering very closely before continuing on.

It's almost like random hedge mazes in never-ending towers are the most normal thing in the world.

Every once in a while something rustles in the leaves. Maybe it's the wind. Maybe it's something lurking in the underbrush. Maybe it's you. Either way, with each rustle, both of the fluffy white dog ear ears poking out of her long, double-tailed cowl will swivel in that direction, but she won't look up. The flowers are too interesting!

It will be easy to catch her by surprise. Or, if you acknowledge her first, she will offer the biggest bunny-tooth grin and a little wave.]

Hello! Have you ever seen flowers like these? They're so strange.

[He is so sick of the tower doing weird shit on the floors. It's the most ass backwards pathways or means to get from one place to the next. Don't even get him started on how none of it makes sense. Dave emerges from a pathway with a snort and brushing leaves off his Rapidash themed shirt and black short jacket.

He's going to picking leaves out of his clothes for weeks, he can feel it. All of his bitching (that you can probably hear because he talks to himself a lot) ceases when Jade turns to him.] That's the thing about this tower. Nothing here is the usual business. Even crystals, which is a warning don't look at those on the cave floor. The headache you get will be the end of all headaches. Like an earthquake just up and settled inside your cranium. When did you get here?

Elevators

[Jenna begins at the top and wants to go to the bottom. In such a small, confined space, she is uneasy. She hasn't felt this uncomfortable since the day she had been abducted from Vale and brought along to entice Isaac and Garet into following with the Mars Star.

The elevator dings and she looks up. She doesn't think she's reached the bottom and she is curious as to why it has stopped. The doors open and then she sees the person on the other side.

Of course. This wasn't like the elevators on the lighthouses. It makes more than one stop.

She offers them an uneasy (later she would claim it had been confident, as was the norm for her) smile and moves aside to let them in.]

Floor 25

[Uneasiness and disappointment at being alone again aside, Jenna knows she can't linger at the bottom floors forever. She has seen the multitude of people in the cafeteria and thinks there must be more people elsewhere in the tower. Maybe her brother is here, or her friends.

Her explorations have brought her to an idyllic meadow. It seems too good to be true and after everything Jenna thinks that it must be, but she is nothing if not tenacious. She leaves the relative safety of the staircase and walks into the meadow, her eyes bright and curious as she examines her surroundings. It is obvious that she is new. Someone who is accustomed to living in the tower wouldn't look the way she does, as though she is walking in a land that is totally unfamiliar to her, which she is.]

[Jenna is the last person Sheba is expecting to see when the elevator doors open. For a long moment, Sheba just stands there, staring in shock - it's her friend. Jenna is alive and well, standing right in front of her, and -

And the elevator doors are about to close. She can't have that, so she darts inside.

Barely a moment passes before Jenna will find a shaking Jupiter Adept clinging to her tightly - like she's afraid she might disappear if she lets go. She's lost Felix once to the Tower, she can't lose Jenna too...]

You're alive. You're alive!

[Sheba hadn't realized until this exact moment how much she'd missed her friends, how much she'd worried about them after the knowledge that those trapped on the dead worlds were in danger had come to light.]

Cassidy Ballard | Original Character

[Floor 31]

[This has to be the first floor that Cassidy's actually felt vaguely at home on. No horrors, or unseen foes, or compulsions or other things. Just a forest (on a floating island but still a forest) that she can scrounge up stuff to eat and maybe a place to stay for a little while. No offense to her roommates but she doesn't have much taste for bunking with three people she's never met before in her life - not even the "oh I've seen you around school" familiarity she had with the rest of the gang that'd gone to Otherworld.

She's quite unashamedly down on her hands and knees, digging through the ground, occasionally pulling up some root or plant, examining it closely, then either putting it in a rucksack on her back or throwing it away.

After a while she sits back, exhaustedly, running a hand through her hair and uncaring of the dirt she gets in it.]

[Elevator]

[Cass can be patient when she has to be. But this is not one of those times. It's just an elevator ride - how is it taking this long? The least they could do would be to play some elevator music.

In her impatience, she turns to any other occupants in the elevator.]

Hey. Is there any chance you've seen my sister? She's about sixteen, curly blond hair. Has a cat with her.

Elevator!

[Jenna doesn't like being the bearer of bad news except for when she's delivering it to someone like Saturos, Menardi, or Alex. Cassidy isn't any of these three people and so she feels genuine regret for having to respond to her question with a negative.]

I just got here myself, so I'm still learning my way around. Maybe we can look for her together?

[She knows how it is to be missing a sibling.]

Option A. Cafeteria Kitchens
[The girl looks down at the bowl of oatmeal in front of her and pulls a face. It neither looks nor smells appetizing and she would really rather not eat it. The cafeteria workers would not give her anything else. She doesn't like being told no.

She pushes the bowl away from herself and gets up from her table in one graceful motion. No one stops her from entering the kitchen. No one stops her from looking through the ingredients. She has never done so much as boil water in her life but how hard could it be?

The concoction she stirs in a mixing bowl looks every bit as unappetizing as the oatmeal and smells twice as putrid.]

Option B. Infirmary
[Bad things happen to people who try and cook with no prior knowledge. In this case bad things mean a knife to the hand which in turn means a bloody gash. As she found nothing in the kitchen to stop the bleeding and the cafeteria workers were unhelpful she runs up a floor to the infirmary.]

Hello? I require assistance! [Her tone is clipped and authoritative. She is only 14 but she is used to having people obey her.] Is anyone here? Do your job!

[The infirmary s rather empty save for the two Adepts. There may not be a them but it doesn't stop Jenna from making the chiding remark as she enters the floor behind Sheba. She can't help but roll her eyes and hide a fond smile behind one hand. Her friend had a tendency to sometimes act so above it all. It was refreshing to see her acting her age for a change.]

Let me see it. [She takes Sheba's hand and winces at the state of the gash.] Ooh, that doesn't look nice at all. What'd you do, try and hack your whole hand off?

[ if the world has ended, then that was simply its fate. but the fact that the world has ended and karna is still here, while his master is not--

it isn't a simple matter to shock the demigod. he's been through a lot in his time, and he's seen and done things many people can't even dream of. but he feels lost and distressed beyond measure now. ten years. ten years he's spent at the boy's side, still in existence because of a wish that karna had neither asked for nor expected. he has served him, watched him grow to manhood, become companion and friend and--

he stops suddenly, knees weak, a hand against the wall to support himself. he has spent a decade defined by his devotion to the young man he'd called his master. what is he supposed to do now, in this strange place surrounded by strange people? the thought of making another pact with a stranger is an unbearable thought.

this, though, is fate. he must continue to move forward, to find answers (and perhaps to join his master in death). so with a murmured prayer, he pushes back up off the wall-- and nearly runs into someone as he turns the corner. beneath the starched fabric of his shirt, the gem in his chest pulses dimly, low and crimson, and he lifts a hand to adjust his tie, obscuring the faint glow, pale blue eyes lowered in apology. ]

My apologies. I am somewhat.. lost. And newly arrived.

[Jenna knows the difference between running onto someone by accident and purposely blocking their way. Karna doesn't look too good, anyway; he seems too shell-shocked to be actively malicious, and while the more suspicious part of her thinks it might be an act, she finds it hard to ignore someone in need.]

We're in the same boat. I just got here, too, and I don't know how or why or-

[She cuts herself off right there and breathes in deeply. If she wants to be helpful, she cannot, must not, despair.]

What I mean is, we should help each other if we can. My name's Jenna. What should I call you?

[While Hiroko was far less than pleased about being suddenly brought to some weird tower right after Aleph, Lucifer and her had defeated YHVH, sitting around and glowering about it wouldn't do any good.

So there will be one... oddly dressed woman walking around the different floors of the tower, gripping her whip in her hands tightly. She had to keep her guard up, since for all she knows this could be a trick of YHVH's.]

[ The scientist has found her way carefully through the hedge-maze to be awarded with the sights of the garden, but something doesn't sit right in her stomach. Dark eyes scan her surroundings, drinking in the countless types of flowers -- and finding that she can only place one or two, and even then, she can't be sure -- as she lingers against the towering shrubbery.

The dimming rays of sun dance over the surfaces, creating twisting, dancing shadows that are harmless, and yet Eva can't shake the feeling of being watched. Disoriented and homesick, she kneels to collect a pine cone in her grasp. It's no potted plant, but it'll do if worse comes to worse. ]

There is a way out of here, but this clearly isn't it.

[ Heaving a quiet sigh as she drags a hand through her dark strands, she turns on her heel to retrace her steps, her shoulder nearly pressed against the dark green hedges as she shoves her newfound weapon into her pocket. ]

[Ryoji hadn't been on this floor too often, but he at least knew to follow the right wall to hopefully get out of there, and quickly. The sun was going down, and though he'd usually be fine fighting off monsters, he's still healing after a recent fight and shouldn't push himself.

He's speedwalking through the maze now, and turning those corners just a bit too fast, so he unfortunately doesn't notice Eva until he's almost collided with her.]

[In her wanderings since she awoke from her slumber - when had she gotten into a pod bed? - she found it ironic to find herself in this tower of "saved souls". Not in the amused way, either. No, more like silently frustrated and visibly angered. Yes, she knew the timeline was doomed - she could see that quite plainly in Valhalla, why she chose a crystal and dreamless sleep until the end.

Adding the additional fuel that this likely means that her former teammates and fellow former l'Cie were...

She shook the thought from her head. No, first she needed to find anyone with more than just a child's explanation of their situation before she dwelled on that. Perhaps it was the military training, or perhaps it was just Lightning being Lightning as most monsters she comes across while exploring her new prison are electrocuted to death on the spot.]

[The zapping of monsters is punctuated by a small, localized earthquake that raises spikes of earth from the ground to impale other monsters that Lightning's Thundaga spell hadn't quite zapped yet.

[Well, while it may not have been the worst elevator ride she had ever experienced (though that was quickly becoming debatable), it was certainly one of the longest.

It had been at least ten minutes by now, she was certain, maybe more, and the long wait was doing nothing to help her mood. She was restless, irritable...worried. About many things, very few of which she wanted to discuss.

But there was one thing she did want - answers. "Your world was destroyed" wasn't a very good explanation for why she was here...or what had happened to her powers.

All of the doors were closed to her again, and she wanted to know why.

She had been surprised when she'd seen the floor numbers she could choose from in the elevator, even though not all of them were listed from the looks of it. But even with that, she hadn't realized just how long it would take to go from the top to the bottom. This place, this...tower...it must be huge.

The better be something down there, she thought, standing off to the side of the elevator with her arms crossed. Someone to ask for answers...or a front door.

She wasn't quick to accept the idea of being locked in another tower.]

[If there's one thing that Nill has really come to dislike, it's elevators. Needing to use them on a daily basis in Animus, despite only being here for about a week so far, has probably made this dislike worse.

She claims dislike, anyway. It's more of a fear - the kind that leaves her getting tense with every creak of the box moving people from the dormitories to the cafeteria - but she never speaks of it as such.

Even so, it doesn't stop her from standing as close to the wall but also as close to the doors as possible, waiting as patiently as one can to get to the bottom.]

[Much like the elevator, Nill has an unfortunate sort of relationship with hospital settings. However, it isn't enough to make her ignore this floor completely. It looks far, far too useful for that. It's too bad she's making a pretty amateur mistake, and the floor actually has nothing to offer her.]

[It sucks when you get off the elevator to take the stairs for awhile, only to end up on a floor literally made up of them. Truly, truly sucks. It sucks especially when the stairs you're walking on no longer really look like stairs. That's where Nill is stuck right now, trying to navigate on a set of stairs that looks more like colorful streaks of light than anything else. Her wings are stretched out behind her for balance as she carefully steps from one to the next, making her way up.]

Floor 67

[It's quiet but then when has it ever been loud on this floor? Dave clears the gap to land on the same staircase as Nill. He hasn't seen her yet and takes a second to pop his shoulder and glance back behind him.] Who designed this place? I bet it was Jason, wait no. Zo. The only admin who gives a fuck, because yeah sure let's toss all these people in to near certain death all the time. Not even wonder why just do it.

Because it's 'fun' or some shit. Ugh. At least it's not the floor that looks like the inside of the body. Makes me sick just thinking about it. [He pats his stomach as if to soothe it and catches sight of her. He holds up a hand in a brisk wave and side steps so she can get past.] Whoops sorry, didn't look before I jumped. Keep going, you're nearly through this rathole of a floor.

[it doesn't really matter where you meet her; Mayu's disposition won't change. But it riding the elevators, wandering the cafeteria or even any of the Floors, she's approaching them with the same unbridled cheerful curiosity, completely lacking in self-preservation, almost dancing about the scenery like she's right at home, with all the innocence of the ~13 year old she is.

The axe she's casually spinning in one hand may make that better or worse. Probably the latter.]

Floor 25

[Even though people tended not to get aggressive on this floor Wriggle couldn't help but eye Mayu's axe with a sense of unease. Whatever for other people though, Wriggle definitely was the type to get aggressive]

What're you doing with something like that? Looking for a fight?

[She floats well out of slashing range and sounds more cautious than confident but if someone wants to cut her in half she wants to at least get the first hit]

Floor 25. [ A meadow is definitely the last thing Florian expected to find when he decided to go exploring where exactly he could be.

Considering he'd just come from the way-too-creepy morgue, Florian seems satisfied enough to just sit among the flowers, attempting to make a crown like Anise's mother had shown him, but not really dexterous enough for that. ]


Floor 56. [ However, not every floor can be as nice as the room with a meadow. It's only Florian curiosity that keeps him from bolting out of the ward once the lights start flickering. He could probably use the help of someone either smarter than him (to rag him out) or braver than him (to drag him further.) ]


Elevator. [ And with that Florian is 500% done with potentially creepy floors, and it's time to try and find his way to...somewhere he can go looking for Anise or her parents or someone he knows. He seems caught between wonder at the elevator and generally being worried. ]
