Have a number of prompts to get you started:
[Floor 29]: This floor has seemed pretty peaceful so far, the maze isn't all that hard and the garden that lies beyond it is rather lovely. Still it seems best to head back now that the sun is about to set and nighttime is approaching fast. ...Is that just the leaves rustling in the wind behind you, or is it something more?
[Floor 56]: Oh this looks definitely like an useful floor - the room stretches into a hospital ward, dusty and old, a surgical suite surrounded by a maze of empty beds. The closer you look, the more you'll find that the first impression is quite deceiving - no medical supplies of any sort, unstable lights and what was that noise just now?! Clearly you are the only one on this floor. Or are you?
[Floor 25]: After all you have seen so far, this just might be the first truly innocent floor you see. But is it truly as trustworthy as it seems...? Many other people seem to think so at least! Come and see what they are up to?
[Elevators]: It's quite a long ride between the Dormitories and the Cafeteria - it probably doesn't help that the minutes and seconds seem to stretch out more and more towards eternity, what a hassle. Are well, maybe there is someone stuck with you and up to provide conversation... or entertainment~
[Anywhere]: Do you still have track of just where you are after spending your day exploring the Tower of Animus? If not, you might want to ask someone... or just start climbing the stairs regardless of where you are! Nighttime is approaching fast...
[Event]: Just earlier this day you have been called for (and/or brought in to) an unscheduled collar check-up, in which the color of your collar was changed. It takes a few hours, but soon you feel the effects of it, feel lightheaded and dizzy, feel all your power slip out of your control. Or maybe you heavy to the point of breaking down on the spot, while just none of your powers seem to work. Either way... hopefully you are at a safe place or in friendly company... That is, if either of these things exist in this tower.

[Weyard had been in shambles when she'd returned. Asch and Guy had both returned to Auldrant during their respective stays, and it hadn't been pleasant. She doesn't want to have to say it so bluntly, but there's something to be said for not sheltering her from the truth.
Luckily, Natalia doesn't pursue the hows and whys of Sheba knowing her name. That's one less awkward conversation to be had.]
There are a handful of people from Auldrant, though. And more could appear here, too... just as you did.

Her heart lifts at hearing that she and this girl aren't the only ones to have escaped the end of the world.]
Tell me, did Lu-... [Not Luke, Asch. She looks embarrassed at her mistake but continues on despite the pink tingeing her cheeks.] Did Asch escape? [She hopes the girl knows who Asch is without the title. It's a distasteful title, one that she doesn't think suits him at all when she thinks about how he used to be, and she'd rather not have to say it.]

[The answer comes almost immediately
in spite of the mun's slowness sorry for that by the wayand is coupled with a bright smile, though it's somewhat dampened by a questioning look in her eyes. She did catch that slip-up, after all -But there are more important things to talk about.]
He got here about a month before I did, and this is my... sixth? Seventh? Month here, I think. So, his seventh or eighth. It's hard to keep track, sometimes.

How strange.]
You know him well, then?

[There's something almost playful in Sheba's tone of voice and expression, but even she can't keep up the teasing when it comes to Asch - he's too important to her to make light of their friendship.] I've been very lucky to get to know him. He's helped me out a lot ever since I came here...
[If she's being honest, having Asch to fall back on was a major reason she hadn't completely lost it when Felix had left, and when some of the other friends she'd made had disappeared, and when the news had come that the people who were trapped on their worlds were in danger. As reckless is she is, Asch helps to keep her grounded, and her behavior would be infinitely more rash without him.]

Had she really been absent from Asch's life for so long that he could make a friend like this without her knowing about it? ...is Asch's friend all that this girl is? She's young, but to have survived here for so long she must be capable. And Natalia knows that Asch likes capable people.
There's a much colder look in her eyes when she looks at Sheba again.]
I see. It's comforting to hear that he still does his best to assist people where they need his assistance. He's always been like that.
[So focused is she on rubbing it in that she's known Asch since childhood, she doesn't even notice as the last of the sun's rays fade away and the hedges begin to rustle in the dark.]

[Sheba, on the other hand, is not nearly so oblivious to the rustling. She's been on this floor before and she knows what the plants become once night falls. Being eaten alive by an overgrown bush isn't how she wants to spend her evening.
By her calculations they probably have a handful of minutes before the plants start getting aggressive. A few strategically blasted Spark Plasmas could probably give them a little bit of breathing room, but - better to get out while they still could.
Then she looks up. If they could just make it over the top... Somehow she doesn't think Natalia will take too kindly to being hefted up like a sack of potatoes.]
We need to move, now!
[So instead she grabs for the princess' wrist and drags her down the path, moving quickly so as to avoid any vines wrapping themselves around her ankles.]
no subject
Do you know the way ou- Aaah!
[A vine wraps itself around Natalia's ankle and she falls. She reaches up to grab an arrow and then slams the arrowhead into the vine as she squirms to get it off.]
no subject
[Damn. Not fast enough - she can feel the vines around her ankles as she looks to Natalia. She focuses, raises her staff -
She's never been so relieved to see the Spark Plasma Psynergy strike. The vines are the target, and she's putting as much Psynergy as she can into hitting them so they'll at least temporarily back off. It doesn't need to be forever - just long enough for her and Natalia to keep moving.]
no subject
[Natalia is deeply relieved as the electricity causes the vines to loosen their grip on her. She jumps to her feet and notches three arrows at once, readying herself to shoot anything that moved, be it plant or animal.
Unfortunately, while Natalia has been freed, Sheba herself isn't too lucky. Staying in place to cast made the girl an easier target for the plants making up the maze, and Natalia notes with some degree of alarm that the plants are going for her. She adjusts her aim and lets the arrows fly.] Look out!
no subject
Sheba turns her head to look as Natalia's arrows whiz past her, and her face drains of all color when she sees what had almost grabbed her. Even with the arrows, there were still lots of plants - they were coming on Natalia's side too -
Up and out. That's the easiest way. Hover works best in areas where there's concentrated Jupiter Psynergy, which means a quick Whirlwind at Natalia's feet - scaled down, not enough to hurt - and then she casts Hover.
She feels the vines curling around her ankles, up her legs. She's going to have to act fast if she wants to get out of this. But first things first, Natalia needs to get out of here. She can't let someone die on their first day. Unless the princess has moved out of range, she'll probably feel the sensation of being lifted into the air.]
Princess! When you get above the top of the maze, go for the stairs! I'll follow you out!
no subject
[Natalia cuts herself off before she has even finished the question. It's obvious: The girl is a fonist, and she's manipulating the fonon of wind. Thanks to Sheba's efforts she finds herself weightless, positively buoyant. She rises above the maze and it's then that she can see the stairs. They aren't too terribly far away.
She hesitantly attempts to take a step forward and to her surprise it works. It's like walking on air, whatever this is. She looks back down and sees that the plants are doing their work fast: The vines are already up to Sheba's waist. She can't see how the girl is going to get out of that.]
But what about you-?
no subject
[If Sheba didn't know better, she'd say someone had cast Mad Growth. These vines feel like stinging nettles, and the leaves shouldn't even have teeth, but it feels like there's teeth ripping into her flesh nonetheless. She makes the mistake of looking down when there's a sharp pain and sees the blood.
Damn it--!]
I don't know how long Hover is going to last if this stuff gets me, so go! Get to the stairs, and go down eight floors - there should be an elevator there! Take it to the dormitory floors, it's safer--
[She doesn't get the chance to finish because her words are cut off by a scream as something cuts into her gut. She looks down and there's a gash there, blood seeping out of it and staining the front of her tunic. The nettles drag across it as if enjoying the taste and she bites down hard on her lip to keep from screaming again.
This isn't going to be pleasant and she knows it.]
If I get in, can we say this happened? It gave me an idea for an intro network post.
And Sheba is brave, commanding her to keep going. She's chosen to accept this. If Sheba is willing to die to save her, then she absolutely must not allow her sacrifice to be in vain. She nods and makes a run for the staircase, doing her best to drown out the sounds of the plants eating the young girl alive.]
That's fine with me!
But damn it, it hurts - it takes everything in her to not just give up. The faster she dies, the faster the pain will stop, and it's ripping into her flesh, wrapping around her limbs and tightening and ripping and tearing -
As Natalia reaches the staircase, she'll hear a piercing scream, then an eerie almost-silence as the scream echoes. When the last of the echoes fades out, the Hover Psynergy cuts itself off and deposits her on the steps.]
Thank you! :)
It isn't until it does, and the doors slide open and then shut after she steps inside, that she realizes she never asked Sheba's name.
Sheba's scream echoes in her ears and she closes her eyes to attempt to block it out.]
