"How has your character developed?" The Man, The Meme, The Legend
Because introspection is fun.
Basically, exactly as stated - how has your character developed throughout their time in the tower, from their state upon application? Feel free to be as TL;DR: as you want, becauseI want to read all of it this is a writing based hobby, words are what we're here for!

wow i can't believe i exceeded the character limit geez self
When the Shadows manifested, they only reinforced this point; not that he had a purpose, but that he simply had no more fucks to give, so screw it. He had to stop avoiding the people that he actually gave a damn about, even if it was impossible to get over his own emotional crutch. In a weird way, he's able to acknowledge that he cares. Normal people would distance themselves if they wanted to wage an all-out war against the admins, but he really didn't care. If people he cared about wanted to get involved, he'd work with them, and even if they all suffered horribly, it'd only be temporary. This puts his loyalty in a weird place, as while he'd still come running to help those he's close to, if they both get hit with punishment, he's not gonna get hung up over it. Though the loyalty factor's an important part of his personality, he hasn't quite addressed that part yet.
The body swap event happened, and while yes, he loathed being in Suzaku's body, he wasn't totally resentful of it. He no longer had any aches and pains when he moved, and in fact he was surprisingly agile. He didn't have a headache, and his mind was quiet without the consequence of being loyal to people he hated and operating on people. He didn't react very well to the silence at first, as it reminded him of the Infighting event, and when he found out about the "Live" geass, he was pissed. But he didn't have many plans to do much about it, just wait until it was over-- it was only temporary, after all, that's how the Tower worked. His anger eased away easily, but a conversation with Yu stuck in Lelouch's body was surprisingly motivating: Yu could potentially geass their Personas into basically, calming the fuck down. Normally Jin would reject the help, but this time he didn't even think twice about accepting someone else's help (though perhaps that was because of Suzkau's brain? Who knows.)
And during the body swap-- again, perhaps because of Suzaku's mind influencing him-- Jin actually made his own decisions. No, he didn't see Yu as a leader-- but the Geass plan would only work if they were able to switch back. No doubt they would die if they didn't, and that meant their bodies would reset and the geass would be gone, even if they did geass Suzaku in his body. Rather than give a shit about what havoc Suzaku wreaked then, Jin teamed up with a team of hackers, offering his skills for the omg greater good!!!!111!!! and worked to replicate the process Jason had practiced when he swapped their bodies, in order to obtain all of the supplies they needed to reverse it. It was aggravating at first (and his inexperience working with other people became obvious with HOW annoyed he got), but he was able to take some degree of charge, though he wasn't the leader, and they organized a game plan on what to do. And it worked.
By the time they were finished, he was exhausted (though not too much since Suzaku's body had way more stamina than him) and tired, and his brain was starting to get fuzzy. Maybe the reason he wasn't flipping out about this identity crap was because he was already starting to come to terms with his own loss of humanity and individual being because of the Labyrinth, the Infighting, and the Monster things. Who knows! But he was also incredibly pissed off because Suzaku was flying off the handle and that meant all of his efforts-- the first time he had ever really tried to help people sans a few attempts here and there before--was about to be a complete waste if he got himself killed before they swapped back. Yes, a complete waste, because even if he feels bad for some of his previous actions, he's still very much a selfish bastard that would've just not wanted to help anyone else if he hadn't gotten his way at the end of the body swap. But with Yu and Minato's help (and a bit of cheating, since y'know, he had Suzaku's body), they were able to drag Suzaku back to get them swapped back.
Admittedly, this fucking sucked, because Jin was hit with his deteriorating physical health, his lowered sensory capability, his crazy Persona that had gone almost a week with no suppressants, and the developing injuries from fighting against Suzaku/his own body, but it was easily more bearable with the now calmed-and-Geassed persona, he just had to get over all the physical bullshit.
Which he did! And thus marked another great turning point: he actually showed up at a Tower party without having to be coerced, or forced, or without being a wallflower. It's almost like he's on his way to acting like a normal teenager. The triumph over Jason, though it left them with no food, was downright astounding for his mental state. For the first time in his life, he's had a genuine sense of accomplishment and pride, moreso than his intelligence, self-teaching and various skills have ever provided him, and after some taunting of Jason when the event first started, he'd basically set on a complete crusade against the admins no matter what happens. And it was effective. It's likely that he'll actually be willing to team up with people against the admins more often in the future if they're willing, though he's definitely not going to coddle anyone. It's still a horror tower after all. He's got a goal, and for once, not everything feels totally pointless.
Except there's still the being-a-total-sarcastic-and-condescending-asshole part. He's still got the emotional capability of a stingray. Hey, not everything changes.
