"How has your character developed?" The Man, The Meme, The Legend
Because introspection is fun.
Basically, exactly as stated - how has your character developed throughout their time in the tower, from their state upon application? Feel free to be as TL;DR: as you want, becauseI want to read all of it this is a writing based hobby, words are what we're here for!

spiral into sadness and sickness
I am a horrible horrible person.
He arrived at the end of September (three days from now, cry) and the tower wasn't actually so horrifically awful (for those whole three days). Keiki was there and though he had to go through the huge his world had ended and his king was gone he coped okay. He was sad, with the usual depression of being away from his king but he coped. However a run in with Dualscar (in which the troll lost his arm thanks to Gohran) prepared him for some of the horror to come.
And horror there was by the score, he was hit by Paranoia believing everyone to be against him. This meant relationships with newly built CR were tense and Taiki became more and more withdrawn. Adding to that was the body experiments which as well as terrifying and saddening Taiki gave him blood sickness.
When the compulsion came to kill it was Gohran who went out to hunt down experiments, literally torn apart between compulsion and nature Taiki (with Eridan coming along for the ride) flew off the tower and plummeted to his death. Thus ended his first auspicious month in Animus. And turned him into a sad wreck.
Keiki had disappeared and so Taiki found sollace in his roommate Eridan (who despite believing him to be a useless hoofbeast was actually fond of him). He even went to try and rescue him from his nightmare world (leading to a huge bout of blood sickness).
Despite being scared and sad and ill for most of his time in Animus Taiki does try to help, he joined Signless' revolution because he knew he could move through solid matter, he learned to heal; getting good enough to heal battle wounds in the whale attack.
The biggest thing that affects Taiki is his blood sickness. Even though this is reset everytime he dies it still is a great burden on him. The worst times were November to February where the Is this home event (in which he got to see his home torn up by demons), followed by the moving event attack, everyone hacking each other up for Valentines day and eventually the hide and seek meant he was barely functional. Drowning in blood though more terrifying than anything that had ever happened to him ironically was what made him better. And he hasn't died since then so he is incredibly weak once more.
The collar swap event taught Taiki that the tower could even take the control of his shirei away from him, Gohran killed jade!Eridan and many of his clones whilst Taiki was powerless to stop him, since then Taiki has been more careful though he still relies on the demons a lot.
He became very close to Erian and Willow, the former who put up with him and the latter who became like a big sister he had never had. Their disappearance hurt him a lot, made him more sad and a little less confident.
In May Taiki played right into the admins hands but there was no way he couldn't help, he suffered a long time for powerlessness and nightmares but for the most part saw it as necessary and even managed random acts of kindness (like taking Reno pancakes). The nightmares haunted him though, especially the ones where his people were suffering and blaming him. He had to also face the fact that his friend and roommate Ventus killed someone. It was hard for him to grasp but he knew that Ventus felt bad about it and needed help.
June was probably one of the biggest turning points for Taiki because once again his very nature was challenged. How was a holy creature meant to decide between winning: therefore condemning one person to death for every challenge won or loosing: therefore allowing the tower to be taken further into darkness and pain. How could he even wrap his head round the idea of voting for who would die. In the month in the pods Taiki began to doubt his very nature, the choice or lack of it as it were tore him up and he began to doubt his right to even call himself a kirin in a way he hadn't since his very first days of being taken to the twelve kingdoms.
Added to seeing those he cared about and looked up to hurt and killed Taiki was very broken and as they were finally let out Taiki was plummeted back to his dead world.
Coming back Taiki was taken right into the puzzle event where his confusion continued. And when he returned he discovered that Ventus had disappeared, Ventus who he had been dragged away from him in the pods and killed.
But then his king arrived and everything was bright.
The sickness was still there, the worries, the sadness but so was his king and so things weren't so bad. The whale event scared him but he managed to help and though he was very sick after his king ensured he rested.
Then he disappeared and Taiki was once again plunged into darkness, but darkness after a time of having light again is even more dark and Taiki isn't coping very well.
All in all though he has grown up, he has gotten sadder and more unsure of himself and his nature but in other ways more confident. He has had to learn to speak and act for himself and sometimes even has the confidence to ask questions.
All in all though the tower is destroying him, for holy creatures can not live in such poisonous environments
And I really am a terrible terrible human being.
