1.       Cafeteria

Well, top of the mornin’ to y’all in Animus! Guess what day it is? Well, it’s the first day of Jason month and you guys know what that means? The cafeteria will be full of nutrition bars today! Enjoy your absolutely tasteless meals while you can because you’ll be forced to eat these for the whole month.

 

2.       Shadow Children (Event)

So, the elevator mysteriously exploded! Who, why and how? Well, no matter who is responsible, some creepy shadows are following you around, speaking in the voices of your loved ones from your world and blaming you for their predicament! Unless someone whom you have a strong bond with in the tower drives those shadows away, your collar will gradually go paler and you will die in a few days! What do you guys do? 3. Elevator

Sheesh, it’s a rather long way from the top floor to the cafeteria, isn’t it? About an hour, actually. In the meantime, someone else might be in the elevator with you! Start up a conversation? Ignore each other? Start singing in the elevator? The choice is yours!

4.      Valentine’s Chocolates! (Event)

It’s Ruana month and you have all been infected with a disease by some mysterious teddy bears! Suddenly, you receive a box of chocolates which can temporarily cure your infection but many of them have special side effects. Effects can be seen here: http://animus-ooc.dreamwidth.org/120554.html

 

5.    Floor 29

This floor has seemed pretty peaceful so far, the maze isn't all that hard and the garden that lies beyond it is rather lovely. Still it seems best to head back now that the sun is about to set and nighttime is approaching fast. ...Is that just the leaves rustling in the wind behind you, or is it something more?

 

6.       Floor Seventy-Nine

 

Fancy some deep-sea diving? Grab some scuba gear, hop off the staircase, and explore some ruins! Just be careful you don't run out of air or run into a shark (or run into a shark while you're running low on air). Of course, if you can breathe underwater or just don't need to breathe at all, then the sharks would be your only worry. Try and find some treasure!

 

7.       Anywhere!

 Whoops, you've gotten distracted, or lost, or you're still climbing up the stairs when night falls. It's time for the monsters to start prowling--and one's got its eyes (or whatever sensory organs it may have) on you! Time to fight back, or time to run?

There's another me? [ he frowns faintly, curling his hands in his shirt again. ] It's magic?

...Second magic, by the looks of it. But this place runs on what we should call magic. Both Second and Third.

[infesting]

[ a thoughtful pause, then he nods tiredly. ]

Okay. I guess.. that makes sense.. You know big-me?

[puppy_lancer]

Yeah, we're friends, actually.

[infesting]

Oh. Big-me.. has friends. [ the thought makes his chest feel weird. ] What's your name?

[puppy_lancer]

Lancer.

...Don't you have any friends?

[infesting]

[ he considers that for a few moments, then shakes his head. ] No. .. Your name is Lancer? Like a Heroic Spirit?

[puppy_lancer]

Well...uh...I am a Heroic Spirit.

[infesting]

Really? [ he hesitates, then reaches out, fingers touching the back of lancer's hand curiously, staring at it as if surprised that it's solid. ] But there's no War, right? Where's your master?

[puppy_lancer]

Nope, no war and no Grail to be fought over. And I have no Master either.

[His face falls a little as he admits this last part.]

The Tower itself sustains me. Like it sustains all the other Servant.

[And how it sustains all the other inhabitants with its wire frame bodies.]

[infesting]

[ he offers a small, shy smile, withdrawing his hand and curling it in the hem of his shirt again. ]

It's okay, Lancer-san. I'm sure you'll find a good master. It's nice that you don't have to fight a war here.

[puppy_lancer]

...Thanks for the good wishes, kid.

[Though he still holds some hope of Ayaka or Misaya coming back, so he's not quick to become anyone else's Servant.]

[He reaches out to pat little Kariya on the head.]

[infesting]

[ he flinches a little at the pat, only stilling once he realizes it doesn't hurt. .. oh. lancer seems nice, after all.

he nods slightly at the gratitude, flushing a little with pleasure. ]

Ah, y-you're welcome. [ he glances back down at his feet, curling his toes in the grass again. ] What.. am I s'posed to do here?

[puppy_lancer]

[He shrugs.]

Live, have fun, make some friends. Beware of the monster or the experiments that the administrators pull.

[infesting]

[ he shakes his head insistently. ] Father wouldn't approve. [ a glance back up, brows drawing together. ] .. Monster?

[puppy_lancer]

Then your father can screw off.

[No father should be telling his son not to make friends.]

And...there's monsters here. A lot of them. They're usually only out at night, and you're pretty safe if you're in your room by then.

[infesting]

[ his eye goes huge in his face, stunned by the comment, before he reaches up with both little hands, covering lancer's mouth with them. ] D-Don't say stuff like that! He could hear you. I mean, if-- if he's here..

[puppy_lancer]

[He makes one or two muffled complaints before gently prying Kariya's hands away.]

So what if he is? I'm a Heroic Spirit. More than enough to take him on!

[infesting]

[ he shakes his head again, tears welling up, not quite spilling. ]

He's scary. And the Crest Worms listen to him. They'll eat you. [ he presses his hands to his stomach, wincing a little. ] They hurt.

[puppy_lancer]

Worms again, huh?

[He has seen this with Kariya. And with Rin.]

[infesting]

[ he offers a hesitant nod, staring down at his hands, brows drawing together as he fights the urge to cry. ]

I don't.. want you to get eaten, Lancer-san.

[puppy_lancer]

I won't. Too strong for it, remember?

[Though there was one time when he did get eaten. But that was when he was a drone.]

[infesting]

[ the tears really do spill now, and he lifts his hands to rub them away. ]

You're sure..?

[puppy_lancer]

[He raises a hand to wipe away the tears.]
