1.       Cafeteria

Well, top of the mornin’ to y’all in Animus! Guess what day it is? Well, it’s the first day of Jason month and you guys know what that means? The cafeteria will be full of nutrition bars today! Enjoy your absolutely tasteless meals while you can because you’ll be forced to eat these for the whole month.

 

2.       Shadow Children (Event)

So, the elevator mysteriously exploded! Who, why and how? Well, no matter who is responsible, some creepy shadows are following you around, speaking in the voices of your loved ones from your world and blaming you for their predicament! Unless someone whom you have a strong bond with in the tower drives those shadows away, your collar will gradually go paler and you will die in a few days! What do you guys do? 3. Elevator

Sheesh, it’s a rather long way from the top floor to the cafeteria, isn’t it? About an hour, actually. In the meantime, someone else might be in the elevator with you! Start up a conversation? Ignore each other? Start singing in the elevator? The choice is yours!

4.      Valentine’s Chocolates! (Event)

It’s Ruana month and you have all been infected with a disease by some mysterious teddy bears! Suddenly, you receive a box of chocolates which can temporarily cure your infection but many of them have special side effects. Effects can be seen here: http://animus-ooc.dreamwidth.org/120554.html

 

5.    Floor 29

This floor has seemed pretty peaceful so far, the maze isn't all that hard and the garden that lies beyond it is rather lovely. Still it seems best to head back now that the sun is about to set and nighttime is approaching fast. ...Is that just the leaves rustling in the wind behind you, or is it something more?

 

6.       Floor Seventy-Nine

 

Fancy some deep-sea diving? Grab some scuba gear, hop off the staircase, and explore some ruins! Just be careful you don't run out of air or run into a shark (or run into a shark while you're running low on air). Of course, if you can breathe underwater or just don't need to breathe at all, then the sharks would be your only worry. Try and find some treasure!

 

7.       Anywhere!

 Whoops, you've gotten distracted, or lost, or you're still climbing up the stairs when night falls. It's time for the monsters to start prowling--and one's got its eyes (or whatever sensory organs it may have) on you! Time to fight back, or time to run?

The Grail is a farce. I wouldn't fight for it in any event.

Please, as if magi need that kind of excuse to do battle.

Of course it is. That is what the entire Grail War is. Yet you were apparently involved nonetheless.

[She hated the War, but "relief" is taking it a bit far.

[She gives Kirei a look, because no, it is not bloody simpler to be kidnapped to a nightmare tower with an uncertain future and face torture and deprivation.

Should she ask? Ah, who knows how much longer they'll be in this elevator...]

I am an experienced healer and an Executor. I can do many things here.

I don't need to be reminded of your qualifications.

[Not that she's that well-informed about Kirei (and she files the information away), but does that really matter?]

That has nothing to do with the Church. The Church doesn't exist here. It's been destroyed, presumably. So you are a member of nothing.

By that logic, your own titles are equally worthless.

[She frowns. Kirei has a point. No, not her titles... She must--recover--somehow.]

That isn't true. The Association may be gone, but that doesn't change the fact that the Archibald line, and my magecraft, are impeccable. My titles aren't dependent on an entire organization to have meaning.

They depend upon me, the head of the Archibald House!

Then; I suppose that would make me the head of the Holy Church.

[surfacetension]

Then, indubitably, I am the head of the Mage's Association.

[She's going to declare this, regardless of the other magi in the Tower. She knows they can't compare to her.]

[she sees no reason not to indulge her]

I see no reason why not. It is mutually beneficial.

[Even after everything, Kendra remains conventional at heart.]

[Kirei nods, calm as always]

Then, I trust the rest of the Tower will be informed?

There may be resistance. I don't want to be rash.

[Someone once told her that some people are made to be cowards, and they should play to their strengths. Somehow, they had meant that in a complimentary fashion, but she is aware that charging in blindly isn't one of her strengths.]

I will have to assess the situation.
