Also, adding those salmon-colored roses probably hadn't been a good idea. It's inappropriate! What will Claudia think? He has to get rid of them somehow, so he takes them out hurriedly. Claudia should be here any minute.

Unfortunately, he's not careful enough, and the thorns scratch his fingers, which hurts. And what is he supposed to do with these salmon-colored roses now--? This isn't turning out as he'd planned.]
