The demons and demon-worshippers that I have peace with, I do because it is they who want peace. They are not willing to fight the angels here or attack me because I am allied with Heaven. We all have a common enemy here, the wicked ruler of this tower. I've no reason to fight those who do not wish to fight me.

Any corruption on the Earth I came from came from the presence of the Fallen Angels, whom I was on a mission to capture. It was corruption I was working to end.

You seek peace with those who are corrupted and fallen beyond hope of return, and have no thoughts for My laws. Under the guise of a common enemy, you would hear the filthy words of My enemies, Enoch, son of Jared. You may have had the intent of following Me, but you cannot choose to ally both with Me and those who despise Me.

My Lord, there are more options than that. This war has no use in this place, and any fighting amongst ourselves will only make it easier for Ruana to oppress us, all of us, even you.

*Enoch takes a deep breath and lets it out. He continues speaking, his head still respectfully bowed, still kneeling before the deity.*

Even if I hear their words and feel for their plights, even if I feel affection for them, it does not change that I have nothing but love and respect for you, Lord. You need only look at the network here to see that hearing of what happened to you in your own world pained me greatly. I may disagree with your motives and methods, but you are still the Divine Father, and for that, I could never bring myself to turn against you.

*His even tone had been steadily falling apart, and it is all he can do to maintain his formal wording as he finally breaks down, his tone more openly pleading.*

But I can ally with the both of you, because our fight is not with one another here. What are we fighting over, souls that are not yours? An Earth that is dead? We must remedy everything first. And it is why I beg of you, to consider that the rulers of this world have no regard to what existed between the people here. *For a moment, Enoch is still. It had been a completely emotional outburst, and once he'd started speaking, he couldn't stop himself.

*And he lowers his head, his voice softer.*
