To get you started, here are a few optional prompts for you to use if you so wish:

1. [Setting: Elevators] Did you know it takes a half hour to get from the top of the dorms down to the cafeteria by elevator? Well you're finding out now! Strike up a conversation with the others stuck in there with you! Maybe play I Spy or something.

2. [Setting: Floor Eighty-Six] What's with all the mushrooms? And why are they in circles? That's weird--but maybe the mushrooms are edible? On the other hand, maybe you know exactly what these are--and you should really stop that idiot who's going to jump right in the middle of one of the fairy rings before he gets everyone on the floor turned to jell-o or something.

3. [Setting: Floor Seventy-Nine] Fancy some deep-sea diving? Grab some scuba gear, hop off the staircase, and explore some ruins! Just be careful you don't run out of air or run into a shark (or run into a shark while you're running low on air). Of course, if you can breathe underwater or just don't need to breathe at all, then the sharks would be your only worry. Try and find some treasure!

4. [Setting: Floor Fifty-Nine] Is this a torture chamber? Yes it is. Maybe you want to get out of here as soon as possible or maybe this floor really speaks to you. Maybe you want to give that iron maiden try on the first person who happens to wander by! On the other hand, maybe you got a bit too close to something and are about to take a spin in the racks yourself. Hopefully someone will come help you.

5. [Setting: Floor Thirty-Three] There's farmland on this floating island, and anything you can grow yourself is bound to be more reliable quality-wise than the cafeteria food. Of course, the recent odd storms have made a mess of this floor. Get to cleaning it up and then get to growing something!

6. [Setting: Floor Two] It's time for your first collar checkup! Go wait in the waiting room for your turn--maybe strike up a conversation and find out what this is all about! Or try to fight the worker units when they call for you, not that fighting them ever ends well.

7. [Setting: Anywhere] Whoops, you've gotten distracted, or lost, or you're still climbing up the stairs when night falls. It's time for the monsters to start prowling--and one's got its eyes (or whatever sensory organs it may have) on you! Time to fight back, or time to run?

[Karis can't help but perk up--something familiar in the midst of all this strangeness isn't a bad thing.] Yes! I thought something about you seemed familiar. I'm Karis--I'm a Jupiter adept. Who are you?

My name is Sheba. [She smiles, but there's no recognition at the sound of Karis' name. Not the way there would be if this was the Sheba that Karis knew.] I'm a Jupiter Adept as well. It's nice to meet you, Karis.

[Karis, though, does falter, recognition and confusion sparking in her at once--while Karis wouldn't necessarily expect the Sheba she knew to be the only Sheba in the world, the name and the face and the Jupiter alignment seemed too wild for coincidence.

Still, it doesn't all add up yet, so she approaches with a bit of caution.]

I don't get to meet too many other Jupiter adepts. Where are you from?

From Gondowan... Lalivero, to be specific.

[There's the faintest hint of wistfulness in her tone of voice. It had been a long time since she'd set foot in Lalivero - if you didn't count being dragged through it by Saturos and Menardi, which she didn't. And now that she was here, it would be an even longer time before she got to again.]

What about you? [Sheba's thinking Angara, because, well - it's the one continent she hadn't explored in any real detail, and she'd never seen someone like Karis in any of the continents she has explored. What she knows of Angara is mostly what she's seen in the minds of her companions... and what she saw in the minds of visitors to Babi's Palace in Tolbi. In other words, it was very limited.]

[The pieces were coming together, but they were pointing toward something that still made no sense. The Golden Sun event hadn't unaged anyone, as far as she knew.]

I'm from Kalay, in Angara. Um-- [Karis hesitates, not sure how to approach this question.] Do you know about the Warriors of Vale?

[So this girl was from the city Ivan had been raised in... Sheba's brows knit together slightly. She'd never seen anything in Ivan's mind to suggest that another Jupiter Adept had been in that city, and he'd never made so much as a mention of it to them. But Karis looked as old as Ivan, perhaps even a little older...

It's the phrase "Warriors of Vale" that makes her blink, though. She's never heard the term before, but... Vale was where Felix and Jenna were from. Isaac and Garet, too. Was this some sort of a coincidence, or...]

Do you mean Isaac and Garet...?

[Karis nodded, though the confusion at the phrase was added to her mental file.] Not just them--even though not all of them were from Vale at all, like m--Ivan or Mia or-- [She should just say it.] Or Sheba, who you remind me of.

[She recognizes the names Ivan and Mia - her eyes widen as Karis speaks their names, and then her mouth drops into a little "o" of surprise when the other Adept finally speaks her name. Perhaps, if she were less surprised, the way Karis had started to say something else before saying Ivan would have registered on her, but as it is now...

A few moments pass before she can think of anything to say at all.]

I don't understand... [If it was just Isaac's group that were known as the Warriors, maybe it would be easier - she knows full well that the four of them did quite a lot in Angara before catching up to Felix at Venus Lighthouse. But for her own name to be tied in with them - how? Sure, their groups had joined forces, but they'd gone straight to Mars Lighthouse and... and then Weyard had...]

I know them. But how... how could...

[If Weyard had really been destroyed after Felix had cast the Mars Star, then how had her name wound up alongside the names of the others? There wouldn't have been enough time for news of the alliance between Felix's group and Isaac's to have spread.]

Thirty years ago they--you? [It has to be the same Sheba; no one would have reacted like that if she was completely off-base.] The Warriors of Vale saved all of Weyard. But I don't understand--you haven't aged at all, even less than the others, and--I've met you before. You used to look older.
