Oh, this won't do! ✩

[ The voice is awfully childish. He appeared to be licking something... red and goopy off of one of his fingers, as he playfully skips through the room. His eyes were bright yellow, and despite how cold it was in the Tower, he didn't appear to be anything more than mildly inconvenienced by the temperature despite being oddly underdressed for the weather, in only a long sleeved, partially unzipped jacket (bearing a design oddly familiar to that of a certain albino girl with a split personality in the Tower), and a pair of knee-length shorts. What was visible of his skin was riddled with really nasty scars, as if certain parts of his body were amputated and then sown back together. Anyone who has ever seen anything underneath Shiro's bodysuit can likely immediately see the similarities. ]

I think someone went a little overboard with their powers~✩! Oh well. I guess that's one way to deactivate the Mother Goose System!

[ Wait, how was that even possible? Wasn't the Mother Goose System supposed to prevent something like this from happening? ... Oh well. Barring a sudden apocalypse that happened when he wasn't looking, it was the only conclusion he could reach. Speaking of which... the green-blue haired boy stopped skipping around, and brought that same bloodied hand to his chin, over-exaggerating a ponderous pose. ]

Hmm... she must be here too, in that case. [ His playful tone changes almost instantly. Now, he's carefully scanning the crowd, looking for someone specific. ]

[But said someone is not in the crowd. She's been watching him from afar, hidden in a dark corner behind him. She's been waiting for him to notice her. But since he's taking way too long to her liking, she comes to stand right behind him. He'd feel her breath against his neck and the sound of her characteristic laughter into his ear.]

[ He froze as he felt her hot, yet strangely familiar breath on his ear, but only for a moment. Without attempting to move away, and only slightly pivoted his neck to face her. He's grinning ear to ear, even moreso than usual. And it looks only slightly less crazy than hers. ]

Oh, I'm sorry, did I keep you waiting? ✩ [ He almost leans back into her, but resists the temptation. Almost. Despite what happened to their world, he's in a very, very good mood right now. ] So! You happy now? No more... annoying music in the backround? ♡

I feel awful, can't you tell? ✩ [ It hasn't occurred to him yet that there's a time discrepancy here. As far as he knows, he saw the Wretched Egg just a few hours or so ago; she was taking a nap, while he was getting ready to use Chan and En to take over Ganta's body. A surprise for her her when she woke up. Even the Wretched Egg needed to sleep and eat, even if her diet was just a bit more complex than Shiro's. ]

It looks like you broke all of our old toys. [ Wretched Egg wasn't wearing her usual outfit, or even the 'Red Man' armor, as Ganta came to call it. Hagire was young once, and thanks to Shiro, he knows full-well who Aceman is. He noticed the similarity in the armor's design, but never really bothered to comment before. ] But I'm sure you weren't too bored, right? ✩ Tell me, how fun are the humans here? I'm not too impressed so far.

[She makes a small sound of contempt.] Because they were all too weak and fragile. [She seems to ponder his question for a moment.] Well the funniest thing about them is that a lot of them aren't actually humans.

Why? I'm in a good mood! ✩ [ Sure, their world was destroyed, but now, the Wretched Egg was free. Priorities, Hagire has them. ]

They aren't human? Are they Deadmen? [ He leans forward a bit, his eyes narrowing, studying her face... from only a few inches away. ] Did you decide to make more, Wretched Egg? New Branches of Sin for me to eat!? ✩

[She doesn't seem to be uncomfortable with him invading her personal space at all. Still she makes a face at his question.] No. I have yet to find someone who'd deserve it. ...And who'd be able to take it.

Aren't I always? [ Well, considering everything else she's been okay with him doing, it's not much of a surprise to him. Though what she says after, however, is. ]

They aren't Deadmen? [ Well. That's surprising. ] What are they, then?

That's quite difficult to say. Most of them are awfully secretive about it. And I sometimes lack the patience~ Maybe you would be more successful at making them talk~

[ No other Deadmen...? Note to self, don't die. If he has to ask Wretched Egg for new Branches of Sin, it's probably going to come with strings attached. ]

Are you saying there's other powers here besides Branches of Sin? ... they're not Forgeries, are they?

[ Sorry, but... he's first and foremost a scientist. Even by Hagire standards, this is weird, and is sinking in a little bit more slowly than the fact that their world was destroyed did. ]

[ ... Interesting. He may just have to be careful here after all, if only to see what they're capable of, first. ]

The administrators of this Tower, they can kill us. Each and everyone of us. [Including her.] And revive us at will.

You died? [ He couldn't even somehow add a star to that question. ] How?

I'm not quite sure. A nasty wicked shadow enveloped me~ [And tore her apart.]

Oh they could have drugged me~ But I doubt they did back then.
