✭ Seriously, do it.

To get you started, here are a few optional prompts for you to use if you so wish:

Prompts

1. [Setting: Floor One] So you've survived the destruction of your world and have somehow weathered through the thirty-minute elevator ride from the dorms to the cafeteria (or somehow managed to avoid getting killed while taking 101+ flights of stairs all the way down). The next cross you have to bear? Oatmeal. It doesn't matter what other delectable or not-so-delectable items are on the menu, the cafeteria staff is only going to serve you oatmeal. You're welcome to go into the kitchen and make your own food using the ingredients they have for the other menu items, or steal food off someone else's plate, but you'll be violently ill if you eat it before you've finished a bowl of mushy goop.

2. [Setting: Floor Two] Ouch, that cut sure looks like it hurts. Maybe you should look through the infirmary and see if they have anything for you to bandage it up with! (Spoilers: There aren't too many bandages, so if you're bleeding out you might want to find a dedicated healer, and the strongest readily available pain reliever available is the equivalent of children's Tylenol.) Or maybe there's some sort of medicine you have to take that is absolutely necessary for your survival. You'll find it if you look, but only enough for a single dose at a time, so stockpiling is out of the question. Or maybe you're a healer yourself, hanging around in case anyone needs help! The possibilities are endless. The supplies, sadly, are not.

3. [Setting: Floor Seven] That sure is a pool. A big one, too, easily a hundred feet deep and spanning almost the entirety of this floor, with winding tunnels if you're in the mood to explore. Don't have a swimsuit? Don't worry, there's plenty of them available in the locker rooms also on this floor. Suit up, dive in, have fun, and try not to drown. It is rather easy to get lost in those tunnels and not be able to swim fast enough to come up for air, after all. And hey, if you don't know how to swim yet, this is as good a time to learn as any.

4. [Setting: Floor Twenty-Six] Well, this is morbid. It's a morgue, and it's got everything you'd expect a morgue to have. That includes dead bodies in the cold chambers, should you be the curious type. It's alright, though. It'll just be a John or a Jane Doe, no one you recognize. But wait... are there sounds coming from inside one of them? Is something... moving? Maybe someone's trapped. Maybe someone needs your help. Or maybe it's, you know, just a monster, trying to lure you in so the door will lock behind you and you'll become its next meal. And then you could become a John or a Jane!

5. [Setting: Floor Sixty-Eight] This floor's staircase winds itself around a tall, dangerous-looking mountain, somehow; if not for the stairs you might think you were outside. Going up or down the stairs will take ages, but the more you look at it, the more it seems like it might be easier to ditch the stairs and just climb your way to the peak or the base to get to the next floor. But it's windy as anything, and rock slides and avalanches are pretty common. It might be best to traverse this one in pairs. If there's someone making their way up or down alone, join them! They could probably use the help. If you're trying this on your own, maybe you'll be the one needing help...

6. [Setting: Floor Eighty-Six] What's that? It's October? Well, this floor doesn't seem to have gotten the memo. Stepping onto this floor is like stepping right into summer, and the meadow itself seems peaceful. But be careful where you step. There are mushrooms forming perfect circles scattered throughout this floor, and if you step into one, your fate is up to the fae to decide. You might be forced to dance until you can dance no more, at which point you'll fall down and die, and that would be the kindest fate; otherwise they'll play with you, which could mean anything from trapping you in an illusion and sending you off while unable to see the Tower's true dangers, to granting you the ability to see violent magical creatures that couldn't see you before but are certainly out for your blood now, to warping and twisting your body into some other form, to anything else besides. If you're familiar with fae you may be able to negotiate your way out of it, however. But if you can't, it would certainly make your interactions with others... interesting, should you come across them while under the fae's influence.

7. [Setting: Anywhere] It's been a busy first day in the Tower for you, now hasn't it? So busy, in fact, that you've completely lost track of time. Night is falling and while the monsters were around but not completely unavoidable before, they're all too common now. In fact - look, there's one over there! Or maybe it's more than one. So far you've managed to go undetected, but what do you do now: Fight, or flee?

She does. [Chizuru fiddles with the silk of the dolls kimono, looking it over with a soft smile.] If I didn't know better, I might think she was real.

[Then again, she knew quite a few people who possessed an elegant, doll-like beauty. Perhaps this doll was real...]
roamsaimlessly: (Im not sure about that)

Are you sure you should be touching that?
