The World Visiting Meme

The administrators are defeated, the worlds are restored to their former glory and you are free to go back home whenever you want-- This is once again the good ending! But now that you can go back home, why would this mean you have to severe the bonds formed with people in the tower?
Who knows, you may just happen to be accidentally sent to their world instead of yours. Or maybe even a portal will stay open to connect the worlds together. And that's exactly what this meme is for.

Zett Takajo | Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children
Zett travels a lot throughout Makai - especially to Lucifer's Palace - and can be found practically anywhere, but his real home is a place known as the Deep Hole, where those who commit the worst crimes in Makai are thrown in. Essentially, it's Hell for Hell.]
Aleph | Shin Megami Tensei II
Aleph's time is swamped nowadays - he is the near-universally acclaimed Messiah - but he'll make time for anyone from Animus.]
April Sinclair | OC
There are a few pockets of civilization (not all of them friendly though) and one of them is an old ruined city that is protected by the gang April leads. And don't worry, so long as you don't look like a crazy-psycho wanting to kill everyone, the gang members will let you into the city; especially if you say about knowing April. And she will happily go see anyone from the Tower.]

Mitchell Dominic || The Secret World
And of course 2012 was the beginning of a new era. Various areas of the world have begun to break out in a rash of unexplained, occult mysteries. Most of which are being covered up by the shadowy groups. Areas of key significance are London, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, Egypt, Maine, the Carpathian Mountains and the center of the Earth. Though chances are if you travel with him he is going to take you to the Illuminati Labyrinth.]
Reno - Final Fantasy VII
[To a casual eye, Gaia was quite a bit like Earth in most places, except for here. It was when you started to notice the fact the buildings were all burned out, or twisted, or some even half melted that the unsettling feeling of being on an alien world started to kick in. And the city was on a series of massive, raised platforms, though that wasn't quite as obvious unless you were standing on top of a building, or close enough to the edge.
Midgar had not survived Meteorfall, and the people here were the survivors, still picking themselves up and trying to move on; to make a new home in the ashes of the old. It had only been a few months, but another city had already started to take form on the edges of the old one.
Grim faced, Reno can be found on the outskirts of the floating city, in the new town called Edge. He ran in civilian clothes to be on the safe side, sometimes helping another person with salvage operations in the city, other times talking on what looked to be a cell phone. His time in the Tower had left him a little jaded to his surroundings, and the knowledge he had gained had already changed the course of events on his world, starting with saving Rufus and initiating a military relief effort from Junon, which Reeve promptly took over.]
#2
[This place was different, almost completely untouched by the drama of post-Apocalyptic Midgar. Costa Del Sol housed its share of refugees, but the beaches were still beautiful. It was a paradise, one he had sorely needed; but he still looked discontent, sitting on the beach and watching the sun rise over the water.
It seemed like it was nearly impossible to relax anymore. After being on edge for so long, ready at any moment for the next monster or the next horror, he couldn't just turn it off.
Hell, he wasn't even here for a vacation, it was for business, and he was just stealing a few minutes away.]
#3
[This was Reno's place. "Place" being loose in its description. It was more like a temporary shelter building that had been given apartments, though it had all the amenities including running water and portable stoves. A little bit more than roughing it, but far less than the old comforts Midgar had offered once upon a time. He maintained it as part of their operation; the others kept watch on Rufus, hidden away, while he and Rude did what they could on the outside.
Not that Reno minded. It was his, and his alone, and retrieval units weren't coming into his room every night, or Jason's monsters hiding under the bed. There was no Ruana to mock them. But the dreams were still there.
Reno didn't sleep very much, opting to just lay on the cot and stare at the ceiling for hours.]

And lo, a probably familiar crazed scientist comes out from the car. Wearing his usual extravagant futuristic clothes. Oh and a silver visor too. ]

Like Reno, there would be the marks the Tower had left all over her mind and heart for a long time to come. There were still the times she woke up screaming, falling down an elevator shaft or Jason's scalpel descending or red lights and a masklike face, being dragged unmoving towards an open door that didn't exist, pink crystals and lightning shocks and pain, always pain- Other times where she'd jump at noises or people or things walking up behind her. Her elbows were still a sensitive zone, though she was slowly getting to a point where she was maybe less likely to punch anyone who grabbed there accidentally. Maybe.
It'd actually done her credit though, and lent believability to the story Reno'd given about her being an orphan who'd spent a lot of time by herself (one he'd decided to take up and train personally). Someone her visible age of almost eighteen could be easily taken advantage of, after all, if they didn't keep their wits about them and know how to make undesirables back off.
Overall though, maybe it was the simple fact of being with someone she loved so much, but there were times where it felt like she was adjusting to non-Tower life quite gracefully. The smile that was gracing her face was certainly a damn sight more genuine, with no shadow of fear behind it.
She was a fully-fledged Turk now, with her suit, her hair in a braid that just reached the bottom of her shoulderblades, and her Thalassa shell turned into a hair clip that carefully pinned her bangs in place. But something of the kid she still was shone though when she saw the beaches of Costa Del Sol for the first time. She couldn't help it. She ran for the water, stopping just short of where the waves hit the beach, crouching down, and burying her fingers in the sand
After a few moments, she looked back over her shoulder at where Reno was still standing.]
This place is beautiful!

Ganondorf Dragmire || The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
In the best case scenario, Hyrule is still covered by a dome of water -actually the ocean- and Ganondorf is still waiting for the hero to make his move. Waiting quite patiently surprisingly enough, probably on the roof of the tower, contemplating the sealed Kingdom
In the worst case scenario however, sorry but Ganondorf has won. No more Ocean covering Hyrule, no more heroes to get in his way. The entire world is his to rule, and god does he like that. In this scenario he is most likely to be in Hyrule Castle, sitting on a throne with the Triforce well protected and out of reach. It's his, and no one else's after all.
For the unlucky one amongst you, it is possible for you to not even reach Hyrule but fall into the Dark World instead. Its sweet poisoned air, its beautiful trees made of formerly living people, its demons and monsters trying to kill you on sight, its inhabitants trying to steal whatever you have on you. Clearly a paradise.
You can still find Ganondorf here, probably either in his second and even more ominous tower located on the top of Death Mountain, or maybe in the Pyramid of Power located next to the Palace of Darkness. ... He will look quite different from the Ganon you remember, however. ]
Xemnas | Kingdom Hearts (Au Flavored)
A modern city by all reckoning at first glance, with street lights, neon signs, and skyscrapers dotted with lights. An asymmetrical white castle perches in the distance, attainable, but far away. But day never comes here. Always it is night, when the strange heart-shaped moon doesn't shine it is often cloudy and raining, leaving the polished surface of this foreign world shiny and clean. Untouched.
Un-lived-in.
There are no people in this city. Not what one might normally recognize as 'people', anyway. The lithe, flexible shape of Dusks, of other Nobodies, none of them quite human. Perhaps a few thousand in a city that could contain a hundred times that number. It's in these empty streets with fleeting white shadows of Dusks pursuing their own business that Xemnas can be found, as black-clad as always, seeking and finding one by one each and every Nobody under his command.
He knows them all by name, and counts to be certain all are accounted for. To be sure every single one is alive, unharmed.
Now and again the heart-shaped moon slips free of its shroud of heavy rainclouds, its light warm and strangely comforting for all that it is pale and doesn't illuminate much more than moonlight normally would. When its pale radiance graces the streets, the awkward forms of the Nobodies inevitably slip out of their homes to make use of the light while it lasts. They seem to, as much as any Nobody could, enjoy it.
As did Xemnas. That light was the only thing that brought a sense of life to a lifeless world, a sense of hope, of a future.
But it's not hard to find him, if one were inclined to visit a world he claimed didn't really exist. Just follow the spots where Kingdom Hearts graces with its wan light, in between the rain showers. Don't mind the Dusks ... they're not terribly inclined to be harmful to strangers without orders to the contrary.
This is home, after all.]
Sheba | Golden Sun
There are plenty of places where one might encounter Sheba. First and foremost is Lalivero, an ancient, dusty city that is actually much larger than it looks. It sits on the edge of a river, with a half-finished lighthouse built on ancient ruins towering in the distance, and beyond that, the sea. There is the tang of salt in the air and yet the city itself is undeniably a desert city. The people are friendly - in fact, some are downright ecstatic that the Child of the Gods has returned to them. As for the "goddess" herself, she can be found almost anywhere in town. Occasionally visiting with the other townspeople, sometimes playing hide-and-go-seek with the younger children, and very often in Faran's home, enjoying the comforts of family that she has missed for so long.
Someone who arrives in the evening may discover that they're visiting during a festival. Lit candles float in the water surrounding the obelisk at the city's center, flickering against the darkening night sky, and there is food and music and dancing. Sheba is there in the thick of it, twirling around with the best of them and laughing as though she has never left.
If whatever has brought you to Weyard has deposited you in Tolbi, you will instead find yourself in a large, new city. Where Lalivero is full of an ancient grandeur, Tolbi is new, glittering majesty. The city is not so crowded now, as it's not the season for Colosso, but the Lucky Fountain in the middle of town and the gambling tents still draw large crowds. The palace to the northwest - once Babi's, now Iodem's - is still open to the nobility and to travelers, and the coliseum to the north is closed off, though some dare to try and sneak in.
If one encounters her here, Sheba may be on her way to the palace, or even in the palace, because she has unfinished business with Iodem. Or maybe she's just in the city itself, lingering by the fountain or trying her luck at games of chance. Actually, she'll be drawing quite the crowd if that is the case - and the empty vials in her pack, once full of lucky pepper, probably have something to do with her winning streak. The townspeople seem properly awed, though.
Of course, you might find yourself on the other side of the world. Maybe you're in Contigo, not far from Jupiter Lighthouse, not far from the crater where the city of Anemos used to be before it was said to have been raised into the sky. Should you find yourself here, you will most likely find Sheba by the glyph on the ground depicting the ship with the Wings of Anemos, or lingering near the outside of the Anemos Sanctum.
That, or you may find her standing in the center of the circle by the man selling corn, holding a piece of lapis. You'll want to approach her quickly, though, before she uses the lapis to channel her Psynergy - because if you don't get her attention before she does, she'll vanish from sight, there one instant and gone the next time you blink; it will be a good twenty minutes before she reappears in the exact same spot. But if you get her attention first, she might take you along with her to wherever she's going.
Finally, you may find her at the lighthouse north of Contigo. You might catch her at the entrance, or even somewhere inside it. Or you might catch her at the very top of the lighthouse itself, alternating between looking at the beacon of pure Jupiter energy and looking up to the sky.]

Lalivero!
Any illusion of still being in Magvel vanishes in an instant once she encounters her first band of monsters as well, although they fail to stand up against the might of a fully equipped General of the Grado Knights for very long. Nonetheless, it's proof she doesn't want to be traveling alone for any longer than she absolutely has to, and basic survival training says to find a river and follow it.
And that's pretty much exactly what she spends her first day in Weyard doing.
It's morning the next day when she actually reaches Lalivero, a lone figure in truly formidable armor stepping through the front gate of the city with a lance made of silver slung across her back and a sword made of the same sheathed at her side. In fact, if Sheba happens to be especially perceptive this day, while the armor is quite different from what she wore within the Tower the sword is actually identical to the blade she wielded so many times within the halls of that cursed place.]
Lord El-Melloi II | Fate/ [AU6]
[If one were to ask for 'Waver Velvet', no one would have the faintest idea who to direct them to. Except for one person: perhaps you encountered the overeager teenager with dark red hair and a dumb grin on his face. And if he was asked where to find Waver, he'd cheerfully point one in the direction of an office on the building's third floor, western side.]
[The office in question was surprisingly large in size; there were several shelves full of various books against the wall, a small table and a couch against the other, and a desk with various books and papers scattered across it in a sort of organized chaos. Behind that desk, naturally, was the eccentric lecturer in question; since this was what passed for 'downtime' before his evening class, Waver seemed quite content to be left alone reading one of any number of books.]
no subject
Technically, this isn't his original home. Like all the other worlds, his had been restored, but he is dead there. If he goes back, he will cease to exist and that is something he doesn't want to do. What he wants is to be with Waver, to help him fight the system, and to help him dismantle the Grail. That is why not long after Waver had arrived at the Tower all that time ago, Diarmuid had very quickly started thinking of his friend's world as his own.
It's because that fight is about to take an upswing in activity that Diarmuid finally decides to go on the visitations he has been planning. He needs to get them done so that he can go into things with a clear mind. After all, who knows when they might have downtime again?
Diarmuid had expected Waver to be surprised to see him back early. What he had not expected was to find Waver's office a mess of rubble...again. And what he had not enjoyed was asking Flatt Escardos where they had decided to hide Waver's new office this time.
It is amazing he manages somehow not to strangle the annoying fool.
When he finally finds the office, Diarmuid enters, closing the door behind him and giving Waver a look.]
What happened this time? And am I still not allowed to kill Flatt Escardos?

Hidetoshi Odagiri | Persona 3 [OU]
But while he was aware of those sides' existence, Hidetoshi was still busy with getting other business in order before doing anything with that.
A modern port city in Japan, with a school and mall and a train was where visitors from Animus would appear. Surprisingly, going to the school wouldn't earn anybody results if they searching for a specific teenager. But it shouldn't be too difficult to wring an address out of one of the teachers or go walking through the city, asking for directions. Spring was fading into autumn and wrapped up smugly in a scarf, coat and mittens, Hidetoshi was sweeping dirt off the front step of his house. ]

Kariya Matou [OU]
Kariya is hardly aware of the anxiety sweeping through the city. He's standing in a dark alleyway, leaning up against a wall, his posture clearly pained. No passerby who happened to glimpse him would take him for the killer. He looks too weak to stand, let alone harm anyone. Any unnamed observer who made that assumption would be partly right: he isn't the killer, but there is some harm in him.
He mutters to himself.]
Back. I--I'm home. Did everyone go home?
[Had it happened at all? Had he imagined an entire year? His friends, were they real, or part of a fevered dream brought on by pain and desperation? He looks up. There's a moon in the sky. He's outside, out in the world, the real world, not trapped in some otherworldly tower. He knows what that means.]
Ah--I'm going to die.
[He starts to laugh, laughter devoid of humor, edged with hysteria. He can feel the worms slither through his body, that unmistakable presence and pressure that tears through him, responding to his upset. They're the real worms, not some copy made by the Tower. The real worms, really eating him, and there will be no replacement body for him when they're done. There's no one to heal him here. He tries to stop laughing, but he can't. He leans back against the wall, face flecked with blood.]
Goodbye--everyone.
[He hopes everyone else is happy, that they're all right.]

[There's a bang, and a wave of healing energy over Kariya. Ken walks over to his side, trying to get him to lean on his shoulder.]
Even if you're dying - even if your body is rejecting itself - you can't give up. If you give up, you lose. So stop giving up at life, because the only way to win, to get anywhere, is to fight. So fight.

[Was it that he thought helping this one was right? Or could it be Waver hoped it would finally clear the memory of that workshop and mercy-killed Master from his mind? Whatever the reason, Waver had come here to this foreign alternate Fuyuki against all his better judgment, walking towards the other Master with slow, cautious steps. Closing the distance between them, the oddly calm magus focused on a weak and stuttering healing spell--his skills in that respect had improved, but were still somewhat lacking.]

Dark Pit | Kid Icarus: Uprising
[The world is huge though. There's a lot of places to explore, and it's not unusual to find Dark Pit in a number of different places - usually after getting one of the goddesses to warp him there.]
[The ruins where he headed to soon after his creation are one of those places. The floating islands are rocky and crumbling, with a large mountain in the middle. There's a path up it, and it's less of a mountain and more of a huge hill, but whatever. Dark Pit can frequently be found on top of it, brooding or taking shots at random bits of rock down below.]
[The human towns are usually fairly quiet, except on market days. Sometimes Dark Pit watches from above, perched on a building or on one of the city walls. He's not really eager to interact with the humans, but his time in the Tower has made him curious about them.]
[Of course, there's always Skyworld. Dark Pit's welcome there now, and the Centurions pointedly ignore him as he wanders around, usually sticking to the edges of the place. There's an aura of goodness around the place, which always makes Dark Pit's skin crawl a little.]

Avenger | Fate/ [OU]
The temple remained Caster's stronghold even though she no longer displayed hostilities, and a lone samurai still guarded its gates. A blond child could be caught playing soccer or avoiding the now-ruined church. There's a man who works a few jobs as a florist or a waiter, and fishes down at the harbor while just devoutly avoiding the church. The Emiya household, with Saber and Sakura and Taiga, is full of cheer, the smell of cooking and the usual squabbles. Rider could be found struggling to find the correct produce on shopping trips. Schoolgirls cluster in groups after school. The days are warm and sunny.
But there's something... off. Wrong? Everything about this town, even reproduced as accurately as possible, was wrong. People mutter about repeating days, surreal happenings, and the retirees from the Grail War occasionally make a comment or two about nighttime monsters. It was wrong.
There's an old, abandoned mansion, one of several, up on a hill in Fuyuki City. And there's that ruined church. Checking one of those out at night's your best shot at finding a former resident from Animus. ]
