A few things that I've had on my mind for awhile now:

• The plot has grown and changed a lot over the past couple of years. This makes it hard for new players to catch up on and to get into, especially when first joining the game. I'd really recommend that the mods make a comprehensive guide on the plot so far and possibly a list of important threads--a player has made both, so perhaps the mods could build up off of that? Additionally, I think it'd be good to have it included in the premise/main links so it's easy to find.
• A lot of people seem to be having trouble getting into the overarching plot. It puts a lot of responsibility on the main players involved (see: Pandora) and I think that's really unfortunate and unfair to everyone involved. It'd be nice if the plot developed in a way that encouraged characters to create smaller groups and more opportunities to dive into the overarching plot without feeling restricted to one or two central groups.
• The most recent events. I don't think they've been handled particularly well lately. There's been this growing trend of limited sign ups that again, puts a large amount of responsibility on a few players and requires them to remain hush hush about their involvement in it. I honestly feel like it's been rather limiting all around, both in terms of involvement and plotting and OOC communication. I'm a little more wary of saying this one because I honestly don't know how others feel about it, but it's made things a bit difficult for me.
  
  That said, I understand it on for the overarching level, but for minor events which last a few weeks at most, it's a bit much to expect people to unravel everything both OOCly and ICly while only throwing out bits and scraps of information. Once again, others might enjoy it, so I don't want to necessarily say this has to be changed and I even feel like it's been an interesting way of trying things, just that I in particular have struggled with it. The last event in particular made things difficult because it was impossible to ignore, but not particularly interesting unless you were directly involved, and even then the requirements of it meant it was limited to skilled fighters (i.e. people who could kill the monsters.)
  
  Essentially, unless you were involved in the event (and even then, only if you played a character capable of actually killing the monsters--badass norms need not apply,--) there wasn't anything to do but get killed without making any real progress and the novelty of that wears off pretty fast, which is a shame because I absolutely adored the concept of this event! It was really fantastic and I'd love to see more like it. I just think it could use a bit of fine-tuning.

That said, the mods of this game have been wonderful. You guys are doing a fantastic job and I really adore the direction that the plot has been going and the efforts that have been made to get grand reveals out to everyone who's not in the know (for example, Ruana pointing out that WHOOPS YOU GUYS BROKE IT or the soul reveal a little while back.) I've been really pleased with that, so really, at most I think the system needs a few tweaks rather than a complete overhaul!

I have some issues with the way you play both of your characters and I sincerely hope that you will pay attention to what I have to say and use it to improve your playing. Please do not get upset. I am not bashing you. I am trying to help.

I'll start with Sheba since she is the character I noticed issues with first.

Her CR is unrealistic. In canon she doesn't like antagonist types but she has a lot of CR with people who are really similar to people she dislikes: Asch the Bloody and Sephiroth are the first that come to mind. Considering she can read their minds and would know that they're not like the people she befriended within her canon it seems really out of character for her to be as involved with them as she is. There are also a lot of characters in the game that are similar to her friends from canon that she should probably be tagging out to, doubly so because she is the only character from Golden Sun in the game now. Sheba is the type of character that looks for things she can make sense of and she would naturally gravitate to people who remind her of home. Furthermore most of the people who you do tag are people you're friends with on plurk. You should expand your tagging circle so that more characters and players can get involved because right now your CR choices show extremely cliqueish behavior.

I have seen almost nothing of the things she struggles with in canon in the way you play her. Sheba has some SERIOUS abandonment issues in canon. Why does she not have them here? You took her from the end of the game but at the end of the game she still had not resolved those issues and was still wondering where she came from and why her family had abandoned her. In a game like Animus which is a perfect environment for psychological horror you should be playing with that more than you do.

I would also like to see a permissions post for her mind reading because you godmode a lot with regards to that. You should at least give people the chance to opt out of having you tag them.

Now for Anise.

When OU Luke and Tear were still in the cast you did not have her interact with them as much as she would have if you were playing her ICly. They are her friends. Ion is her friend too and I understand that but you have her tag along with Ion so much that most of your other CR has fallen by the wayside. Furthermore I haven't seen you tag out to anyone who isn't an Abyss character. You play with people who tag you but you rarely if ever tag them. I would like to see Anise making more friends because she is a very social character and she is not as obsessed with Ion as you think she is.

Her CR with Barnaby was good. Her CR with Edgeworth was good. I would like to see more of that and less of her obsessively trailing along after Ion like a lost puppy. There is a lot more to Anise's character than being a Fon Master Guardian especially since you have her from a late canon point where Ion is dead. By that point she had time to accept his death but the Anise you have in the game hasn't accepted it at all.

I am sorry for doing this anonymously but I don't want to make things strained between us OOCly. I hope you will take this crit to heart and won't get mad.
