Plotting Meme: May 2013 Edition

So ye olde "Plot With Me For May" meme is going around plurk so I figured WHY NOT? Let's put a plotting meme up here to consolidate plans, discuss, add to our wish list, and so on.

Things to remember:
• There will be a MOD EVENT from May 19th to the 25th.
• There will be another MOD EVENT from June 9th until the 30th. Please plot accordingly.
• Our last CR meme can be found HERE if anyone wants to reference stuff from before or reply to stuff there.
• There is A THREAD specifically for working on and planning out game-wide plots.

Game-wide plots

Ideas people have for game-wide plots go here. It doesn't necessarily have to involve your character. Just involve something along the lines of "I would like to see X happen!" or "I would like to see Y Group of people together!" People then discuss how to make this happen.

Madoka Magica-style witch plot, anyone?

I laid out the basics of this in Saki's individual comment, but I've submitted this to the mods already and am just waiting on approval, so: in both Puella Magi Madoka Magica and its spinoffs, Kazumi Magica and Oriko Magica, magical girls turn into witches when they can't handle the despair of the world anywhere.

This has been building up in Saki for a while, and so sometime in May (dependent on mod approval), it's going to happen. As I've submitted it, Floor 61 is going to become a full-on witch's labyrinth. Anyone who goes near that floor during the weekend of the plot will have the option to have their character affected by a Witch's Kiss - they'll feel much more depressed than usual. All their joy and happiness will be gone. In canon, people who have been affected have died in accidents or suicides, but I'll leave the effects up to the player, since we just had some heavy plot.

Those effects will disappear once the witch dies - anyone will be open to try and fight her/talk to her/interact with her, but only fellow magical girls will actually be able to kill her. I'll work out details of the actual fight once I have mod approval.

Any questions? Think this is a good idea, bad idea, any input? I'll do an official OOC comm post once it's closer to time and once mod approval comes through, but.

Character Name: Garviel Loken
Series: Include the AU# or description if relevant He's from the warhammer 40k canon, horus heresy, but is AU in a way because he's spent some time in Destinystrings. Basically this means he's got a persona and isn't happy about it.

Current plans for May: Hang out with the warhammer cast, quietly talk to a few people on network. I'd like for him to get a sword forged, he's been trying to go around and find the right person who can help him with that but he hasn't managed it quite yet.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: I'd like Garviel to get some more CR in general, get involved with the resistances, and get him feuding with a few more overtly alien/evil/daemonic pcs. Oh and probably kill or be killed in some exceptionally dramatic manner. Since he's a spehss mehreen and that's what they do.

Character Name: Saber of White, Arturia, Wart
Series: Fate/Stay Night, AU5
Current plans for May:
1. Post on the Network in which Arturia asks for help making and distributing copies of the Tower Map/Guide she and Diarmuid have been working on for the last few months. Said map will only cover the residential area. She isn't letting her map of the Administrative Levels get out.

2. Arturia starting to farm for food on floor Thirty-Three. After dealing with a Jason month she wants to be prepared for the next time so her top priority is getting emergency food stores set up. So expect her to keep up hunting when she isn't working on her fields.

3. Reaction to what the group infiltrating the Administrative Levels found. I'm handwaving things right now as her not being sure who to trust since the brainwashing event happened immediately after.

4. Death. I have a quota of one death per month and she's reached lucky number seven.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general:

1. Tempt fate and get into a complete mess because of her own actions. Whether it be provoking the wrong person, getting caught between the growing IC drama with most of her CR, or other things along those lines. I like causing conflict for her and I like conflict where the fault is ultimately no one's but her own. ICA == ICC, so if it ends in a good maiming or worse, I'm game.

2. Team Protag shenanigans.

4. Get Alter to toss Lily into a lake. Dignity? What dignity!

Current plans for May: Well, once my school frenzy quiets down a bit, I want him to start getting more heavily involved in Resistance thing - unless anyone else steps up to the task, he will probably start trying to contact un-compromised CR (canon mates, people he's talked with before and knows to be trustworthy, people that his close CR have vouched for) and try to regroup. Further in the future he might also contact other resistance factions that are unattached to Zelda's group? Idek yet. :|a

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: Resistance stuff, more casual CR with everyone, idek, I'm pretty open to all? Also, he'll probably start looking into acquiring an actual non-magical sword.

Current plans for May: Rei is trying to start up another, more public resistance effort because she has THINGS to say about Zelda's style of leadership. In her opinion, the rebellion never gets anything done because they're too busy being secretive. They don't even have a recruiting office. She thinks that with the recent info leak, it's about time the rebellion opened up about some things.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: Uh...try to get her to run into one or two official resistance people who she can either get inducted or at least give them some ideas?

Just here saying I'm putting most of Zelda's plotting on hold until this infiltration log finishes up, since I really do not know what kind of mental state she will be in until then. Just pretend she's lying low and trying to figure out how to lose her stalker retrieval unit buddy for now. :'|

Though, as people on my plurklist know, I did think of an idea for getting the word out about Dax's info somewhat safely and I'm gauging interest. :|a The idea is to hold a masquerade party on Floor 82, which forces anonymity upon anyone wearing the mask that appears on them when they enter the floor. Stalker retrieval units are said not to be able to keep track of their targets well in crowds, the anonymity keeps the identities of the infiltration team secret, and the noise/music if they can get it will drown out most whispers between dancers or whatever. Plus they can draw people in with food. :|b

Current plans for May: Fallout from the brainwashing
So his son is probably coming in this month. Neither of them knows they're even remotely related and they're going to hate eachother's guts, though.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: More badguy stuff. He needs to snap and kill someone eventually, he's been trying not to give away his badguy status, but he's pretty pissed after the brainwashing and liable to take it out on anyone who happens to annoy him.
He just needs to get out and do stuff more in general.

Character Name: John Egbert
Series: Homestuck AU2 (game transplant from Route_29)

Current plans for May: So John's kind of stuck in a weird place at the moment. He knows just enough to be kind of dangerous (not really) but not enough to actually know wtf is going on. He knows Zelda was planning another break in but has no idea that it actually happened. And in the aftermath of the brainwashing event, well he's a little more determined to actually do shit to get the fuck out of here. Mostly because of what being in this place is doing to Rose. But at the same time, hey if the admins are going to have drones tail him, he may as well give them a reason to do so! Plus, he's none too happy about his video being erased. That was like the one semi-useful thing he did during the break-in and they erased it those bastards.

So long and the short of it, I don't want to say that he's going to raise hell but with each passing event, he's being pushed to action. The only problem is that he's not entirely sure what to do with himself. So...he's probably going to need someone to give him some direction for the time being.

The only real specific things I have in mind for him this month are 1) pranking the drones that are following him and 2) fishing for information/trying to override the admin elevator with his Rotom(please sombody stop him before he actually tries to do this). Not entirely sure how feasible the last one actually is, I need to run it by a mod first and see I just keep being a lay dumb and not actually doing this.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: 1) Kind of ties into the above but John doesn't think of himself as a leader. However, even if he doesn't see or acknowledge it himself, he can very easily be pushed into the role of a leader just because of the sort of person he is. If I get to play with this aspect of him a little bit at some point before this is all said and done, I can die happy.

2) Between Chloe and Sam, this is kind of already in the works but I would like to see somebody actually break this kid of his habit of trusting ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING EVER.

3) More tempting fate/mortality. Because wow this kid is great at bad protag decisions and dying.

4) More CR in general, come on let's be friends.

Current plans for May: Mostly getting my butt back in the game since April was a total writeoff.
Siiince Ryuunosuke killed him and I didn't get to do anything about it in April, he needs to follow up on that in May, let people who were concerned about it know that he's stepped out of line, and those who told him not to bother worrying about him too.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: I want to do more magecraft things with him, maybe get him to try to use familiars for some sleuthing or some such.
Looking out for his 'sister'-self too.
He's going to eventually set up some kind of video game tournament...

Current plans for May: He's currently dealing with the fallout from the last event.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: I've driven him to angry, stressed tears so that's out of his system, now I'm want to find him some kind of goal he can activity pursue in the Tower. It would be nice if he got killed in a horrible manner in the process. If there's any chance of it, getting Hidetoshi involved in the school project would be good for him if that's still available. Open to anything here?

Current plans for May:
1) Hoping [OU] Ryoji stalking/mind control plotting will be over by the next mod event. If not then shortly after this needs a resolution. There will (hopefully) be a joint log going up next week after event cooldown.
2) Bury fallout!feels so deep...maybe reconcile with a few, maybe not. Sorry V-chan Ryoji is going to get the brunt of this cos...whipping boy
3) This thing with Nesir - as part of the Ryoji-tormenting

Things I'd like to accomplish in general:
-There needs to be more scum and villainy even if it will end badly. Not that Ganon will be impressed with Nesir!controlling
-Talking to Ocelot re:not being a certain-previous-mentioned's lapdog must happen but :-/ being watched all the time
-Sephiroth needs to get under more people's skin than he is currently, needs to gain some of that deadly respect fear....hero!teams need to figure out he's somewhat of a threat in his own right. (possibly Ryoji plot will lead here...cos mind control that isn't Admins?)
-I'd like to get him to cry from all the trauma last month but...this is difficult...

Other comments: Any other ideas? I'm open to pretty much anything. Though didn't sign Sephiroth up for the brainwashing in future, since it makes sense not to following the fact he kept his own minds during the last event plus strong-willpower yadda yadda he does like to gloat if someone asks the right questions.

Also, possible!Jenova player plot still being worked out for around September - depending on May/June events.

Current plans for May: Healing people, acquiring information, and helping out his friends. Also, dealing with people and their different versions of God.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: I'm not sure if this will happen in May, but I would like to convince someone that Raphael should start using a weapon and actually getting into the battle..just to defend people and not kill them. After all, as an Angel of healing, he wouldn't want to leave any blows.

She might feel better after talking to the other Homestuck Kids but she might also feel worse we just don't know

though i FINALLY got a Dave Lalonde and John Harley from her AU apping in so she ight be a little better? But she's basically kind of in a stagnant point because she has been here for over a year and she wants to get off so I should probably figure out how to make sure she doesn't completely yknow. Stop.

  ϟ Growing increasingly paranoid that she's being stalked by retrieval units.
  ϟ To the point she snaps and attempts to do silly things like them. I still need to clear with mods what she might be able to do, but thing being tricked into dragging around supplies for her or being decorated :p
  ϟ Being without a Servant. This means she might try to find a way to replace Archer while he's off being stupid.
  ϟ Catching up with people.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general:
  ϟ Acquire more non-cast CR with her. I'd prefer people who don't automatically know she's ~evil~ since she's trying to go beyond that, but I guess if they have a feeling that's alright too.
  ϟ Get someone to create a giant battery to dump into the lagoon full of mermaids to fry them out. She's got a grudge, okay?

Series: Tsukiblood

Current plans for May:
  ϟ Being sad her best friend is gone.
  ϟ Being sad her boyfriend killed her.
  ϟ Being sad that she's generally ignored because she's an extra character.
  ϟ In fact being sad is 100% her thing, so it's cool.
  ϟ Try to pick up Sion's lab work. This will end with many explosions and failed experiments because Sacchin baby please...

Things I'd like to accomplish in general:
  ϟ Maybe acquire some cr with her. I have a bad curse with her (which is ironically fit for the character) that if she tags with someone cross-canon, they tend to drop after. FUNNY AS ALL HELL THOUGH, you gotta admit it.
  ϟ Get her involved with a group, but sadly she's a vampire who sees little wrong with the tower cause she's here with her Tohno-kuns so good luck...

Other Comments: I'm not really into the whole slice-of-life stuff while in a horror game, so I try to minimize that with my characters. Please don't take any offense if I decline offers for that sort of thing unless there's good reason for them to actually do it with your characters aka family or love interest

Current plans for May: ICly, Archer plans to avoid Rin (after killing and then betraying her while modified and brainwashed) and continue to research ways to fight the administrators (including attempts to contact the worlds outside the tower for help). OOCly, I'd like to ease down from those heights of angst a bit with some new CR for him.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: I'd like to have Archer branch out from simply being Rin's guardian and make more cross-canon CR. He'll be focused on finding out more about the administrators and how to fight them, but naturally this month's events will have made him cautious about that.

Other comments: Despite avoiding Rin, Archer will still be cooking occasionally for Urotsuki and maybe the Sabers.

Current plans for May: Nothing so far! He's only been around for two weeks (and me for that matter).

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: CR of all kinds, really. Like, that's my main thing here, but I'm honestly open to all sorts of stuff - just gotta ask! Though he'd likely be interested in Resistance stuff, if that helps any.

Current plans for May: Tohko needs to get updated on the happenings of Rebellion, since she was MIA for their splunk. After that, she'll probably plot and try to help them out as best she can..as well as lead another small band down there with Cecil, if she thinks that they missed anything.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: It's not really an accomplishment per se, but I'm looking forward to the day when Tohko has her braids cut off and loses it.

Don't think that'll ever happen, but if it does, I'll be happy.

Other comments: Read more books.

Current plans for May: I'm not sure how, but since chaos has learned of the rebellion, it would be nice if he could get involved, since he did want be involved in one that was better organized than the one he met during the brainwashing event.

I'm..not sure how that'll happen, but we'll see.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: Someone actually managing to pull the truth out of chaos about what he is would be a feat that I'm always happy to see. I'd also like to see chaos use his revival powers at least once more.

Current plans for May: I would like to have Kariya do something more to help children or other people who can't defend themselves. He wants to help more actively. If you play any children or related characters, or characters who just look like kids, and would be interested, let me know! Or if any other character just wants to help him out.

I'm also thinking of Kariya having some ridiculous deaths or near-deaths if anyone would like to rescue him from terrible fates. Or, alternately, if anyone would like to kill him. Warning: he has some powerful friends.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: More CR is always loved, friends and enemies alike.

Series: Original Character

Current plans for May: I DON'T REALLY HAVE ANYTHING AT THE MOMENT??? Sam will probably do a network post about "WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MONSTER" or something like that, and in the meantime will continue to gather as many people as he can to manipulate.

YEAH because surprise surprise, he's secretly a heartless jerk of a literal Lovecraftian monster under that pathetic wimpy exterior. Don't let the hurt puppy eyes fool you.

Things I'd like to accomplish in general: More people he can manipulate! Seriously, if you want someone to lead your character on or make them be influenced to do things by others, Sam is your guy.
Also somebody spotting that he isn't as human as he appears (like the fact that he walks around in the aquarium water like it's fresh air, eating raw fish, etc.) would be cool to play with too.
He also has a tiiiny smidgen of humanity in him still left, though the only people who could potentially save that speck from disappearing forever would be younger girls, because he has a big thing about brotherly feelings towards his (now dead) younger sister.
Doing a Wounded Gazelle Gambit would be really cool to do too!
