Tohko Amano-Bungaku Shoujo
1. What is your full name?
Tohko Amano, the book girl.
2. Where and when were you born?
I was born in a hospital in Japan on March 15th.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My father was named Fumiharu, and he worked as a book editor in a published company. My mother was named Yui, and she wrote small poems and published them. They were both wonderful, kind, understanding people.
I do miss them..4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I don't have any siblings..but Ryuto, my cousin, is like a sibling to me. He's always causing trouble with his three-timing, but he does help me out when I need it.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I now live with Ryuto Sakurai, my cousin, and my Aunt. She's a little cold, but that's just because she's always working so hard. She really does need a vacation.
6. What is your occupation?
I was a student back home..but now I'm a librarian in the Tower.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
I'm not the tallest person in the world, but I'm not that short either! I'm Japanese, and I have blue eyes..and long black hair done up in two braids. I'm never going to get it cut, as those braids are precious to me.
8. To which social class do you belong?
Well, I did belong to a middle class family back home.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Nope!
Except for only being able to taste books..10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right-handed.
11. What does your voice sound like?
It's a little soft at times..but people usually don't have a problem hearing me. I suppose that's because there's a warmth to it. Or, at least, I think there is.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
I tend to come back to certain poems and stories, since they do seem to help everyone..but I do seem to say 'if you don't mind my asking' a lot.
13. What do you have in your pockets?
Right now? Just a pen and a small collection of haikus.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
..I do sometimes bother people with my questions. I am working on it though! And I will never get rid of my love for books or my title. Some people also think that my optimism is weird.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
..I really did enjoy it. Every day brought me new stories from my mother and father, and we would always read or play together. Those were warm, carefree days.
16. What is your earliest memory?
Trying to eat something in my father's editing room.
17. How much schooling have you had?
I'm at my final year in high school!
18. Did you enjoy school?
I loved it! Class was usually enjoyable..except for math. I was always terrible at those formulas.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
I learned the basic important things from my parents, and the rest..I learned by reading, thinking, and going to school.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
Oh, I had a ton of role models! My parents, first of all. They were the most important, but there was also The Prince, Wendy Darling, Sherlock Holmes, Merlin, Alice, Harry Potter and Hermione, The Match Girl..-oh, sorry. I started rambling again. Now I'm hungry.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
I got along with my parents beautifully, and I got along with Ryuto rather well, even if he did tease me when we were kids.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A traveler, the sort that got into wonderful adventures.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
Reading.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
Well, I was curious about a lot of things, but I always had a huge imagination. Maybe that's because of the stories.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
Well, I wasn't popular, but I did have a few friends every now and then. My family was more important though, sadly, as most of my friends tended to drift off after awhile.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
T-That hasn't happened yet!
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
That..hadn't happened yet either..now why are you asking me that?!
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
I'm a book girl, but that's mostly because of my parents, my tastes, and my love for stories.
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
The most important..I couldn't pick, to be honest. A lot of important things have happened to me..but I guess coming into this Tower was really important.
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
My parents.
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Saving Chia Takeda.
32. What is your greatest regret?
..I hate the fact that I've hurt people while being warped here..and sometimes, I misunderstand things and make stupid promises. Those have all rolled up into one huge regret.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
..Back during October..I killed a few people. But..I wasn't in the right mind then, so I suppose that doesn't count. Maybe roping Konoha into the book club would. I need to apologize to him someday.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
Of course not!
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
..When I was saving Chia, to be honest.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
..Having to strip for Maki...gah, that girl is horrible!
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
..I wish my parents were still alive.
38. What is your best memory?
I've had a lot of wonderful memories..but it's hard to choose a best though! Maybe meeting some friends here? I wouldn't know..
39. What is your worst memory?
..My parent's funeral.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Optimistic!
41. What is your greatest fear?
Not being accepted for what I am.
42. What are your religious views?
..There are stories that have god that are delicious, and there are stories with god that taste bad. There are stories without god that are delicious and there are those without god that taste horrible. As long as it all comes out to a good story in the end, it doesn't matter whether a god exists or not.
43. What are your political views?
I don't have any right now, to be honest..but the Administrators here could use some reforming, in my opinion.
44. What are your views on sex?
..It's not a bad thing if you do it safely..
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
I'm able to, and I would in the Tower, since we're pretty sure that it's not permanent..but it would take a strong trigger for me to do it when I was in the right mind. If I didn't have any other choice, no other option, I would do it..even if I would feel terrible about it.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
Backstabbing people, crushing them utterly, and genocide for stupid and foolish reasons.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
Oh, the idea really is romantic! It would be nice if those existed..but, like god, it's fine if they don't.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Good friends, family, and books.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
I'm mostly honest with people. I may hide some things if you're not that close of a friend..but I'll probably tell you if I consider you a good friend of mine.

I will never allow someone I know to kill themselves! As long as I can help keep them alive, I won't let them do it!

My friends, my ideals, and my family.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
I try to treat everyone politely..even if I hate someone, I'll still try to be polite. However, if I start to get suspicious about them, I'll ask about them.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
..Back home, it was my family members. Here, in the Tower..I would say that Enoch is my best friend, but there are a lot of other important people here that I care for.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
..See above. There are a lot of strong people here, and they all have something respectable about them, in their own ways.
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
Rise, Diarmuid, Wilhelm, Shiro, Tetra, Saber, Waver (all of them!), Kidou, Mondo, Shion, Romeo, Prussia, England, Tavros, Legolas, Allen, KOS-MOS..and a lot of others. But I do consider Enoch to be my best friend here. I do a lot of stupid things sometimes, but he's always there for some advice, a story..or anything else.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
No..but getting married someday might not be that bad.
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
I have..and while it didn't go over that well, I don't regret falling in love.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?.
..The person had to understand me and not mind what I'm really like, first of all. Other than that..a kind, optimistic person with a kind smile and good words.
60. How close are you to your family?
I'm very, very close. It's thanks to them that I'm the person I am today.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
I haven't..but starting one might not be that bad..
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
..It would depend upon the type of help I needed, but probably my friends. I'm more liable to handle it by myself though.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? I don't really need protecting..
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
My family and my friends.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
..Ganondorf right now, but Ienzo makes a good second tie.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
I try to avoid conflict with my friends, but that doesn't mean I won't argue sometimes with people.

Not usually..but if I have to, I will.

I like it. We didn't have many people in the book club, or at home, so interacting with a large number of people is always fun.

..Only about one thing.
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
Reading and helping people with books!
71. What is your most treasured possession?
At home, it was my photo album of my family. Here, it's a copy of Similar to The Sky. And my braid ribbons.

Violet.
73. What is your favorite food?
Oh, there are so many delicious flavors..I can't decide!
74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
Fantasy, love stories..and science fiction. But since I'm the book girl, I'll read anything I can get my hands on!
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
Books, but I like almost everything else!
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
No.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
At home, I would read or do things for the book club. Here, I just try to help people out and avoid monsters.
78. What makes you laugh?
Good jokes, plays on words, book references used well..
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
People hating or defacing books for no reason. I also hate senseless violence.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
I would read until I fell asleep.
81. How do you deal with stress?
I try to calm myself down with a good book.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
It depends upon what I'm doing, but I usually try to have a plan.
83. What are your pet peeves?
Not being tidy with books, being ambiguous, and being rude to others for no reason.
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
I usually wake up, get ready, take care of the libraries, and then try to help anyone else I find in the Tower. I don't feel too bad when the routine is a little disrupted though.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
It's hard for me to give up or quit.
86. What is your greatest weakness?
..My stubbornness. Some also call me nosy, even though I am working on that.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
..I am trying to be less nosy. If I could change that, I probably would.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Extroverted.
89. Are you generally organized or messy?
Organized.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Helping others, cooking for others, and going on, even though I may be badly wounded. I am bad at quitting though, and I'm not very good at gymnastics or fighting without a weapon.
91. Do you like yourself?
Yes.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons…)
Because I like it and because it helps other people!
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
Restoring the universes and seeing my friends and family again.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I'm not sure, to be honest..
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
..Quietly, in my sleep, by eating a poisoned book.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
Give books to the people that needed them, say farewell to all of my friends, and play one last othello game with Wilhelm.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
Helping out my friends.
