So we all know that one CR Meme that is full of plottings and things. This isn't that Meme. This is the OTHER CR Meme. Where we learn what exactly your character thinks about everyone else's!
So we all know that one CR Meme that is full of plottings and things. This isn't that Meme. This is the OTHER CR Meme. Where we learn what exactly your character thinks about everyone else's!

And also, what are his thoughts on Sephiroth?

In Kariya's case, he mostly finds him aggravating at this point. No matter what alternate universe/timeline shenanigans might be going on, he doesn't think of him as his uncle, so it bothers him that Kariya insists on thinking of him as his nephew, especially when he is dead set on the idea that he doesn't need anyone to look after him and can take care of himself (or at least have Rider do it for him). He's also sticking with the "no talent loser who has no clue how the actually world works" assessment until something happens to convince him otherwise.
But, on the other hand, Kariya... actually... said he must be talented? Shinji craves validation like crazy, even if he won't outright admit it, so that definitely counts for something in his mind. Please praise him more, not-uncle :c
Sephiroth, meanwhile, is kind of an enigma to Shinji! He really isn't sure what to think of him. Like, I'm pretty sure one of those threads is about to go in a "WHAT, YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME?" direction, but at the same time, Sephiroth hasn't been (what Shinji perceives as) arrogant or given Shinji much of any reason to be an insulting little jerk to him. That puts him a step or two above most of the other people he's met so far, even if Shinji still finds his behavior and attitude weird. The end result is that he doesn't really "get" Sephiroth at all while still actually finding him kind of all right to be around.
Then, of course, there's the whole "saving him from monsters" thing, which Shinji has unnecessarily conflicted feelings about. Obvs he's grateful (even if his way of showing that would probably be backwards without the event-related interference going on in that log), but at the same time, being caught in that situation is super embarrassing in his mind so he kind of resents Sephiroth a little, haha. I hope you're ready for him to act super dumb in the future out of some misdirected need to show he isn't totally incompetent, since he now feels he has something to prove!
These conflicted feelings are also why I've been taking so long to get back to Sephiroth's tags, oops.
