Rider's childhood?

If she was asked (and if she felt like answering), Rider would say she was born the oldest of twelve to a farmer (who was later ordained and became a vicar) and his wife. She worked as an apprentice in her youth, and was generally a content individual.

This is, of course, all a lie. Her mother was executed when she was two years old, she was declared illegitimate in favor of her brother. She was raised primarily by governesses for most of her early life and generally stayed as far from her father as she could.

One might even be mistaken for thinking she wasn't born 'Francis Drake' at all, if they heard the latter story.

Labrys: Just for a little while. She's learned to accept and like who/what she is, but the idea of human senses and functions are still something she's interested by.

Rider: She's an enormous exhibitionist. I really wish there was more to it, but nope. She's just a showoff.
