Never have I known so stubborn an elf and yet I've never known anyone so caring or skilled. And if I could only pick a few parts of him to love, those would be what I choose. He's one of the people I find myself needing, both for emotional support and simply because having him near gives me strength.

He seems to be rather kind, always concerned with his friends, comrades, and anyone else he finds himself meeting. However, he's not very good at taking care of himself due to his worrying, and he seems a bit too proud and stubborn to let anyone else help carry his burden.

..Hopefully he'll let others help him in the future. I would happily help, even if he didn't ask.

Please, calm yourself. I brought up quite a few other good points about you, and I'm sure the longer I know you, the more I'll be able to speak about. And, sadly, you are stubborn. However, it's not so bad that you can't overcome it. It's actually a little endearing, just so long as it's not hurting you or your friends.

[It's only endearing to chaos because it reminds him of Matthews a little.]

I'm happy to hear that..but don't allow it to hinder yourself either. It would be terrible if I walked into the library and found you half-dead on the floor from a lack of sleep due to nightmares and not talking to people about them.

[ Something unsettled him about chaos' words, and that somewhat melancholic gleam within the boy's gaze prompted him to act. Therefore before thinking logically about the meaning behind the youth's words, Haldir leans forward and embraces chaos. ]

[While chaos was a little surprised, he merely smiled and hugged Haldir back. It had been awhile since he had been hugged, but it wasn't like he didn't remember how it felt or how to hug others properly. His smile must have cracked a bit. That's what happens when you think of your past while trying to speak about death and friends mourning.]

[Normally, chaos would have touched on the age, but he was starting to figure out that 'young one' was just a term of semi-endearence from elves who thought that they were talking to a younger person.]
