He rather liked this floor. The stars ventured off in every direction, the only thing to stop them being an occasional animation of an exploding planet. He had seen enough explosions to no longer be fascinated by them, and it was easy to tell oneself that they might well not be actual worlds at all; just an animation, fabricated by the tower as another act of psychological warfare.
