And suddenly that once small voice is deafeningly loud. Something in her expression breaks, closes off, the excitement the girl had draining from her eyes. But she keeps her smile - ever formal, ever polite - at least for now.

"... No, I am not. My apologies, I... I must have made a mistake." There's still friendliness to her tone, but it's of a different sort - the kind one uses when addressing an acquaintance or colleague, rather than a closer friend. She bows her head slightly, "Forgive me."

On one hand, given the way this other woman was dressed, perhaps this place wasn't dangerous enough to run around in her suit. On the other hand, this was terribly awkward and it was easier to keep a degree of stoicness with that barrier between herself and this person.

Her scanner ticks on, and attempts to read several things at once while faint white-colored symbols dance about across her visor. They intend to discern what Zelda is, and what the significance is of the symbols on her outfit. The scans come back inconclusive, though.

"Well," Samus starts, then pauses. It's obvious that this person recognized her. "My name is Samus, so you made no mistake there," she finally adds.

The Princess remains absolutely still as she's scanned, her hands clasped tightly in front of her. Only the subtle flicking of her eyes gives away any attempt at making sense of those characters across the other's visor.

"Not a common name in my world, but perhaps others are different."

Yes, just... pretend this is someone different entirely, because she might as well be. She takes a breath slightly deeper than the situation superficially calls for, and offers politely, "Nevertheless, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is Zelda."

No titles, no station, just... Zelda.
