On one hand, given the way this other woman was dressed, perhaps this place wasn't dangerous enough to run around in her suit. On the other hand, this was terribly awkward and it was easier to keep a degree of stoicness with that barrier between herself and this person.

Her scanner ticks on, and attempts to read several things at once while faint white-colored symbols dance about across her visor. They intend to discern what Zelda is, and what the significance is of the symbols on her outfit. The scans come back inconclusive, though.

"Well," Samus starts, then pauses. It's obvious that this person recognized her. "My name is Samus, so you made no mistake there," she finally adds.
