I performed a few complete autopsies. However-- [He shrugs.] They revealed nothing significant. You may see my notes, if you'd like. I document my work.

[He returns the man's gaze levelly.]

Oh, monsters. Of various species. I believe they will drag one inside the chambers, if given the opportunity. I've encountered a few. I've autopsied them as well, if you're interested.

Oh! For lack of redundancy's sake, would you like to consider this their first meeting?

If it isn't too much trouble. I still find it strange they would leave bodies out in the open the way they are.

You seem rather informed of the goings on in this tower. But you've piqued my curiosity, I must admit. Such a place with monsters of all things...

It is no trouble. Now, let me see... [He moves toward where the reports are stored. He hasn't hidden them away as with more sensitive materials, as what he found in his autopsies was fairly straightforward.]

In this context, it's not too unusual. As they bring people here from a number of universes, I am sure obtaining corpses is no trouble. In many ways, this Tower is one large experiment. They may be testing our reactions to the dead, or this morgue may serve some other purpose.

Ah, yes, I've made a study of this place since arriving, so you could say I am well-informed. [He nods, seemingly unconcerned by the presence of monsters--monsters are his life work, so why would he worry?] There are indeed monsters. However, they are quite rare during the day and appear in great numbers only at night.

Certainly, they've done well in attracting those with rather morbid curiosities, shall we say. If this is all a test... and if what you say is true then could these corpses possibly be casualties from other worlds?

And if I may ask... how long has it been since you've arrived? I've only awoken myself, I'm afraid.

I would say that the population is varied; subjects vary widely in age, occupation, abilities, world of origin. While overwhelmingly humanoid, they are not all so. Further research is required before I can make demonstrably accurate statements regarding the population.

However, as in most populations, I'd say that very few of them display true curiosity. Certainly not the kind of curiosity that leads them to study their surroundings and draw logical conclusions. "Confusion" would describe the vast majority of them far better.

You may ask. I have been here for one month and five days, going by my own world's calendar, as the length of months here is unknown.

Would I be correct in assuming it isn't merely the environment that leads itself to this confusion? However, one can expect such a thing, being brought here with nothing more than a note and little explanation. Considering introduction of new stimulus to any individual, their first impulse is to panic rather than study it.
