[ The lion raises his head, staring at the one who just tripped over him.

He makes no move to rise, but the look in his eyes is somehow piercing nonetheless. ]

[This will be Luke, attempting to scramble up to his feet and make a break for it. Because the only thing more scary than that stare is Jade on a bad day.]

[ And still the lion does nothing, merely watching as the youngster scrambles away.

He's not going to chase him. ]

[It takes a moment, but Luke realizes this. He turns around to look back at the funny lion... though he'll hide behind a tree first. Because a tree is totally a safe place to hide behind when you trip over a big cat.]

He's just....going to keep watching. Maybe yawn a bit and roll back over in the grass. Because he is totally in a fearsome mood. ]

[...he's never seen a lion act like a domesticated cat before. Then again, he's never really seen a lion before, outside of picture books.]

[Slowly, hesitantly, he shuffled out from behind the tree, curious.]

[ Big cats are curious like that. Though he's far from tame, even he likes to just bask in the light every now and then.

He's still doing it too, when Luke appears again. ]
