[Not gonna lie, Willow loves having her hair braided with seashells, and also loves watching bad movies with people she likes. This wasn't hard to talk her into.]

Clearly dumb, [she says in agreement, wriggling back a little so that maybe there's an edge of physical contact, just a slight suggestion of warmth.] Plus he doesn't go on about how she can't protect herself. I can't believe she puts up with that.

I think I'd smack him-- or, well. Lecture sternly.

[He says this fondly, taking her hand and lightly scratching it with a claw. Not enough to break the skin. His own skin is tougher and a bit slippery. He often wonders how humans survive to adulthood, given how fragile their bodies are, and he isn't all that different from Edward in his obsessive attempts to protect Willow, himself. Not that he'd admit it.]

But you're good at lecturin', so I'm sure that'd do the trick.

[Willow's probably not going to admit either how much she relishes attention, protective or otherwise, but she does turn her hand over and lace his fingers with hers, squeezing gently. She's not scared of being hurt, she's just... appreciative to have moments to sit and do silly things like watch Twilight and banter.]

That's me, fierce lecturer. But I'll have you know I've smacked vampires before. Lots of 'em. Sometimes I even use props, like lamps and fire extinguishers, for extra smacking power.

[To be honest, Willow's too terrified, in some part of her, to be doing this again at all to get to the terrified to lose him part. But that's somewhere as well, because she's already lost enough people in her life, including Buffy. She always counts Buffy.

Here at the tower there isn't anyone from home, and there isn't anyone to worry about judging her. She leans back willingly and shifts until she can tilt her head to smile at him, carefully drawing her hair out over her shoulder so the shells don't get crushed.]

Might have to just go straight for the lighting on fire. Also, have I told you enough times that this is adorable? [Playing with the braid in question with her free hand.] And that you're adorable. Wait, can I use words like that or do I have to say handsome?

[He hisses a little, sucking in air between his teeth, but not in an angry manner. He can get pretty fierce when he's angry, but right now he's just thinking, and pretty much the happiest troll ever.]

--Okay, definitely can't lay here being all outrageously flirty and not kissing you. [Much as she hates to disrupt how comfortable her current position is, Willow means what she says, and she twists over in place to stretch up and lightly press her lips to his.

Not thinking about Tara. Not thinking about how he's very much a he, and not human, and potentially has some serious issues with what level of violence is considered acceptable. Not even thinking about the movie.

She's just living for herself right now.]

[Oh kissing. Kissing is so nice. His fins flush purple and rise, standing out a little with happiness as she both praises him and kisses him, both things that pretty much guarantee his undying loyalty.

He wraps his arms around her and returns the kiss, cautious with his teeth, and flicking his tongue out instead to caress her lips.

He doesn't even care that she's not a troll. The fact that she could kick his ass with her magic doesn't even occur to him. He trusts her, which is something precious and rare for him, and she likes him, and is so incredibly sweet it makes his blood pusher ache]

Wwell you're the most beautiful, that's for sure. [The most beautiful human, anyway, he adds silently, out of fealty to Feferi]

[Willow's a little more brazen, and they've done this a few times before already, so she's starting to get the hang of it. She almost feels like she never wants to let go, never wants to return to the real world again where tragedy happens and she makes mistakes, and when they do separate and he calls her beautiful, for a moment there's a hitch in her throat. No matter how old she gets or how experienced she gets, the implication that she's worthwhile will always get her.]

Thanks, [she says shyly, inexplicably feeling new at this all over. She wouldn't mind even if she knew the exception there; Willow knows all about previous loyalties. She tries to figure out how to express herself without either betraying Tara or being a huge mood killer mush.]

I'm glad you're here. I'd... I'd probably be a wreck if I were stuck in my own head all day. [There's a glimpse of vulnerability to her, betraying how much her recent past still rides on her mind.]

Eridan's done things he regrets, too, and he's shyly told her about some of those, about being cornered in an alley and cutting open the belly of the blue blood who was going to rape him and how he's not sorry, not at all.

But he has daymares sometimes. Especially without sopor. And he doesn't flinch when she kisses him, but they haven't gone much further than that. Some of the scars are on the inside.

He cups her cheek and smiles.]

I'm glad you're here, too, Wwil. I dunno wwhat I'd do if I were all alone here wwith only Sol for company.

[Willow's not ever going to press on that topic, not even a little. It took the first brief implication for her to make that decision, and honestly, she didn't begrudge it one bit. She didn't like moving fast anyway, not physically. She wants him to feel safe more than anything.

She smiles softly at the touch.] That'd be a lot of black without any red for one guy. [jokingly,] Good thing I came along - have to get in your regular dose of sappy comments.
