[Walking around the tower, you might find a this Dragoon roaming the various floors. His mind is set on finding certain people, friends of his. As soon as he found them, his mind would be put at ease once again.

Still, it wasn't, thanks to these strangers and random monsters. Speaking of which, he cuts down the last of the monsters in his path, sighing as he sheathed the twin beautiful swords: Einlanzer. Holy energy seemed to seep from the holy dragon swords. Very powerful, with a worthy master to boot.]

I grow tired of this. [He continues to walk.] Random encounters truly are annoying.

[A young girl with striking pink hair and clad in a rather clashing black dress smiles as she addresses the video feed. Though she is chipper as can be, a certain sadness permeates her every word.]

Oh, hello... My name is Madoka Kaname, though some people call me Gretchen as well -either of them is fine really- and I'm a second year student in middle school.

[She laughs awkwardly.]

But I was wondering if any of you here knows anyone named Homura, Mami, Sayaka, or Kyouko? Their all friends of mine and I'd be very sad if I couldn't see them again.

2. Action
[Having explored the hour for several hours, the monsters and other horrors of the tower had taken a heavy toll on Madoka's young psyche. Retracing her steps back to her own room, the magic that maintains her human form begins to fail, causing small glimpses of her witch-like exterior to be revealed if just for a few seconds.

In due time, her long journey comes to an end in the safe confines of one of the tower's lounge-like floors. Slumping into a chair to rest for the time being, the breaks in Madoka's facade become more pronounced. Despite this, Madoka seems to care little, as she sighs in relief, she seem happy just to be able to rest for a while.]

[That's quite the change from the Madoka that Kyoko knows--either of the Madokas that she's met, really. Something isn't right with that (and seriously, Gretchen? Where's that come from?) Kyoko frowns.]

[Have one rusty red color droid stalking the halls, blaster in hand and eyes glowing dangerously. He's going down the steps by now and the floor right above has a dead monster occupying it. With a distinct blaster burn where he shot it. Multiple times.]

[Rushing up the stairs, staring at her feet, Orihime isn't watching where she's going. And, of course, it isn't long before she smacks right into someone. That someone being Glenn~

But she actually bounces off his back and tumbles backward off the stairs. It's only a foot or so to the actual floor, so she sits up immediately with a wince.]

I didn't really pick it out. I'm not sure I really understand it, but I think Gretchen had something do do with it.

Shampoo sat at one of the tables, holding a bowl of oatmeal. She stared at it disdainfully, before giving it a sniff.

"Eughh, gross. Shampoo not eat this. This food for animal."

And with that, she chucked the bowl away. Hopefully, anyone nearby had the good sense to duck, as it was flying through the air pretty dangerously.

[Anywhere!]

A small kitten was roaming the tower, searching desperately for some source of hot water. Frustrated, it stopped to sit, mewing pathetically.

1: Hallway

[A pretty young woman with brown hair stands in the middle of the hallway, looking around herself for anything familiar. Judging by her medieval-looking clothes, she isn't finding much of that here.

When she spots someone walking close by, her look of confusion morphs into one of determination. She speaks in a voice filled with authority that has clearly not been challenged before.]

You, there! Tell me, what and where is this place I find myself?

2: Network terminal

[Do you know what happens when an Irish princess from before electricity was invented finds a network terminal? Nothing good, unless you consider her attempts to pry it open with a knife to take a look at its insides "good".

Anyone who speaks old Gaelic might hear a few muttered and difficult to parse swears, spoken low enough that she clearly expects to be scolded, should someone hear what she's saying. Then again, the anger in her tone might just be enough to give it away without a translation.]

I guess it's not that bad. It's gonna take some getting used to though, y'know. [Though importantly...] So like, who's this Gretchen person you keep bringing up?

[Madoka said people call her that, but that doesn't make any sense.]

Hm, it's a little complicated, but she's the witch who lives in my heart. I didn't know it at first, but when I became a magical girl she became a part of me, so we're both Gretchen, I think.

[It really was that confusing to Madoka, she never could quite tell if Gretchen was another being or simply the darkest part of her heart given physical form.]

Madoka knew very well the noxious taste of the slop the tower's cooks tried to pass off as "Oatmeal". However, what she didn't know all that well was the speed at which a person could throw a bowl of said substance.

Before she could utter a word, Madoka's face came into contact with the projectile bowl, splattering the offending substance all over her face in an explosion of awful something or another.

"owwww..."

Madoka cried as she brushed aside the oatmeal aside, a sour and disappointed look plastered across her young face.

Action!

[With magic flaring up like that, alerting the other Madoka to a witch's presence, it's not long before she arrives in the lounge. She's frozen in the doorway, staring at the girl sitting before her.]

Um... Excuse me.

[Her voice is small, but firm. She's uncertain and upset, but this sort of thing is part of her purpose.]

Shampoo turned to see who was crying. Despite the fact that it was her actions that had injured the girl, she didn't really seem to care. Honestly, she looked a little annoyed by the noise.

"You, weak girl, where better food?"

2: Network terminal

[After everything he had been through in the last experiment--missing his family and selfishly wanting them there--when he first hears that familiar voice, Diarmuid thinks he has to be dreaming. When that voice grows angered and the curses start, though, he realizes there is no way he would be dreaming about...that. That tone of voice plus the cursing even just under her breath is bad...

Like if he doesn't interrupt, someone is going to die bad.

Thankfully being a servant does more than give him good hearing. With his speed, he is at her side in only a matter of seconds.

The knife gives him pause, though. He may be a servant now, but he still has bad memories of that thing.]

Grainne, love, you're not going to get it to work like that. Trust me...

[Through the haze of her own tired mind and heavy eyelids, Madoka spies her double in disbelief. This was strange, even by the standards of a magical girl.

Though hesitant, Madoka does her best to keep her usual cheerful tone of voice.]

Oh, hello. Can I help you?

I can still wave a laspistol around.

[Like a normal Commissar does.]

[The voice causes her to pause, voice cutting off mid-curse.]

Diarmuid--?

[She spins around, holding the knife out towards him as a clear sign of hostility. When the face matches that voice, she can't help but be reminded of her heartbreak on top of her anger.

She doesn't believe this. It can't be true, no matter how she wishes for it.]

Foul creature! Do you think wearing the form of my love would be enough to tempt me to some evil deed? Do not play such games with me!
